I bought a wireless headphone from Radio shack at twice the price that I paid for here, & these are by far a much better wireless headphone... My husband uses these because his hearing is getting bad & I can't stand the volume on HIGH all the time, he said the old pair had a ringing in it that he just came to get use too, but these are clear & he can go outside to smoke his cigar & still hear his show with no static at all!! he highly recommends this product for anyone looking for a great father days or brithday present

I bought these headphones for my Dad. Well my mom actually. My dad likes to crank the TV volume up load and drives my mom crazy who is reading in the next room. When I first plugged these into my TV to make sure they worked they worked just fine, But when i plugged them into my Dads tv there was an unbearable hiss. My dad figured out the problem. His tv was jacked up to high on volume. He turned the volume down on the TV and turned the volume up on the head phones and the hiss went away. Now when i go over to my parents its seems way to quiet.

I am very happy with these headphones. I bought 2 sets of these and they will both work off of one receiver. Good sound and very comfortable to wear.

These are very nice headphones a bit large but very comfortable and light. I got this to replace wire headphones hooked up to the TV in the bedroom so I could watch TV without disturbing anyone. Sound quality is awesome, true stereo with nice tone and bass. I would recommend this to anyone. Thx Buy.com

I've been using this headphone for almost a year now. I use it to watch TV at night without bothering other people in the house. The sound is good. The battery seems last forever per charge. I like it uses the standard rechargable AAA batteries which are cheap to replace.

The headphones I received have lots of static noise and is very irritating to the ears while listening to soft music or lectures. I do not know where to return this product as my buy.com RMA period has expired. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I purchased a set of these headsets for 40ish dollars from buy dot com and was deeply disappointed. just opening the battery compartment was a bit of a chore. you are suppose to twist open the cover but try as I might the dang thing would not budge. I ended up using a screwdriver to get a better grip so that I could twist it open. when I charged it and plugged it in there was a low level constant hiss that was unbearable. I had to play it fairly loud to get the signal over the hiss noise. but when a low point in the sound of the dvd came about the hiss was extremely annoying. UNUSABLE. I ended up returning the set but foolishly just asked for a replacement. The new replacement SECOND set was just as bad as the first and by then buy.com refused to refund me because the return period was up. bad bad bad. I tried several times using these to watch dvds and tv programs but the hiss in the silent parts are horrendous.

WHP141 Good overall functioning. Excellent base with good quality sound. Comfort level is very nice for the cost. Reception thru wall is not bad. Range is about 10 to 15 meters. Comes with standard PC audio connector and rechargeable batteries. Currently getting about 4 good hours of use on a full charge and I play it loud. Charges up in about 10 hours. You'd expect to pay $80 to $100 for headphones of this quality.

I really liked this headphones. It's pretty good sound and great range, around 10/15 meters. However, it's huge, very big for your head. They should think about it before they designed. Anyway, I use it at the gym and people was looking at me as I was a crazy guy. hihih.

I bought this for my mom so she could listen to the tv without bothering us. It shipped fast. I opened it up and set it up. The only thing that I needed was a headphone to RCA jack since non was supplied in the box. I listen to it and was really surprised at how well it sounded, plenty of bass and clear highs (for a pair of headphones). The range is more than enough for us, we can roam around the house without a problem. The only problem with it is that, when a lot of bass hits, I seems like there is not enough power and the speakers get a little quieter for a second. The outer thing was that the headphones will not adjust. He have big heads so It is fine for us. If you are looking for a pair of wireless head phones, I would definitely recommend these, great quality for the price!

This is my second attempt with wireless headphones. Several years ago I tried some and the sound quality was very poor. These RCA wireless headphones are great. They have a slight hum that is only noticeable when there is no other sound coming through...which leads me to believe that these may not be the best choice for listening to classical music or other demanding auditory situations. But, they have good sound quality, easy to use and charge, and are comfortable. The description was not clear about the input types... it has a male 1/8 inch plug to be plugged into a headphone jack. I have two RCA jacks (from my Direct TV and no headphone jack on the TV itself.) So, a trip to Radio Shack, 2 adapters, and about $10 later I was good to go! I would not hesitate to recommend this product. And for under $50...what a bargain!

I've purchased two headsets for my in-laws to watch TV in their rooms. They loved it since both of them can listen to the same TV set or on separate TV (they have 2 TV sets in their room). The range is quite good. My in-laws even take their headsets outside for gardening. The only thing I don't like about these headsets is that you have to manually connect the rechargeable cable directly to the headsets; other than that, this is a great affordable wireless headsets. I've spent $120.00 for the Sony wireless headset.

RCA product works as advertised. I can listen to my TV while mowing the lawn around my house. Nice range! Sure beats old infared units. Recommend for anyone with hearing problems - your neighbors will appreciate the quiet in the evenings when only you can hear those late night shows.

The headset is good for general listening. Not an audiophile's dream, but adequate for use while on a treadmill, etc. Very difficult to remove battery compartment cover to allow installation of the supplied rechargeable batteries. For this reason, I rated "Ease of use" a 3.

My husband and I love to watch TV in bed, but because we have different work schedules the TV has to go off when the one getting up first needs sleep. We had talked about getting headphones which would elminate the annoyance of the TV on while one is trying to fall asleep. We checked out Circuit City, their cheapest pair was $74. We then checked out Best Buy and their cheapest pair was $64 on the display shelf but had been discountinued months before (probably should be taken off shelf). So, I turned to the internet and I know that Buy.com offers competitive prices, but I was more than surprised to see the RCA headphones listed with free shipping at $35. I was even more surprised once they arrived and we both had the opportunity to try them out. They work great. Outside sounds do not disrupt usuage. Clarity is great. I can walk around the house up to 150ft. and listen to my program. I love to garden and I know this spring I will be getting even more use out of them. They're worth every penny and more! If you're considering headphones, buy these, you wont regret it. They also hook up to multiple things, such as iPod, receiver, video game system, and DVD players.

I bought these to keep from bothering the wife as she goes to bed early. The sound they have is awesome,and they do sit comfortable on the head. The only problem you may experience is that if your TV,DVD or VCR does not have a headphone jack you will need a stereo or surround sound system with the jack to use them. After I got them hooked up to my stereo and charged up I was reaaly taken back by the sound they create,also you can really walk around the house or the yard and still hear the program you are listening to. Seen them on E-Bay used for about the price I paid on BUY.COM. These are really a good deal..
