4 of 5 Good Headphones, Great Price Saturday, November 15, 2008
William from Chicago

Personally, I've never owned a pair of these noise cancelling headphones, so I figured I'd give them a shot especially since they were dirt cheap. I picked up two, one for myself and a friend, to get a range of opinions. Comfort: First off, they sit perfectly in my ears and drown out a lot of outside noise. My Creative Zen at 1/5th max volume and these headphones is loud enough to cancel ALL outside noise, as opposed to 2/3rds with the headphones that came with the Zen. They come with different sized buds, so they can fit ears of all sizes. Far more comfortable than some of the more expensive headphones (according to my friend). Sound: Sadly, this is where the buds hit a speed bump. The treble is decent and the bass is almost non-existant. Why a speed bump though? Well, if your music collection isn't entirely comprised of hard hitting bass and gobs of treble, then they are excellent! They provide a nice, crisp playback which is a lot to say since they're so darn cheap. A lot of the standard earbud headphones I've owned had less sound reproduction than these and those cost more! Sure, they aren't Sennheisers or Bang and Olufsen, but they get the job done... and for a fraction of the cost! P.S: For all of the people complaining that the earbuds are NOT labeled for L/R channels, they aren't looking hard enough. On the back of the earbud, where it says "RCA", if you look at the bottom where the wire connects into the base, there will be a "L" or "R" indicating which channel is which.

5 of 5 The best of the cheap Tuesday, November 11, 2008
Dan from Brooklyn, NY
I consider myself an expert on under $20 ear buds. and although there are very few in this price range I would recomend for music these are perfect for audio books and voice.their base response leaves something to be desired but they deliver a clear pleasing tone with none of the hiss pop and clicks I've often found in other cheap earbuds. they seem well made and the rubber pads fit comfortably in the ear. As some indication of my satisfaction with these earbuds after trying out my first set I've gone back and bought four more pairs. I don't think You'll see a better pair of ear phones for nine dollars if they match your needs.

4 of 5 Comfortable Monday, November 10, 2008
Denise from Swartz Creek MI
I am extremely happy with these headphones. I had been frustrated with the headphones that had come with my MP3 player (Phillips) and that resulted in not using it as much as I thought I would. The round hard plastic ones wouldn't stay in my ears and were always falling out. These headphones fit perfectly. They come with 3 different sizes of rubber earpieces which should fit everyone. The sound is good. One thing I would like is to have a volume control on the wire, but I just use my volume adjust on the player. The wires do seem a bit long. Right and Left labeling would be good on the buds. (There isn't any) Outstanding dollar value.

5 of 5 Comfortable and inexpensive Sunday, November 09, 2008
A Customer from New York, NY
The ear pieces fit well, and the sound quality is very good. They may not be quite as good as the $40 Sony pieces; for the price this can't be beat.

5 of 5 Great Price. Great Product Thursday, November 06, 2008
Brad from Chicago, IL
I've been using the earphones for a week now and I am very pleased with them. The fit snug in your ears and drown out any outside noise. You can hear your music or other audio from very well even at low volume. I recommend this product to anyone who is thinking about purchasing them.

5 of 5 Comfortable! Monday, November 03, 2008
Bob from Centerville, Ohio
I must have "different" ears, because most ear buds do not fit correctly, do not stay in the ear, and as a result do not deliver decent sound. These are worth five times the cost. I have worn them on an eleven hour flight to Europe, and slept eight of the hours while "listening" to all those channels of music they offer.

5 of 5 good product Monday, November 03, 2008
rob from phoenix
These headphones isolate outside noise much better than the stock ones on my ipod. I did notice that I have to turn up the volume a little higher to get the same volume through the headphones. They are very comfortable in the ear.

I was amazed at the sound quality for the price. Ended us ordering sets for the whole family. The sound is outstanding, and the volume just right. If you are wanting good headphones at a resonable price, these are the ones.

3 of 5 Just OK Sound Sunday, November 02, 2008

The sound the same as the earbuds that came with my 4th gen IPOD. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as I'm concerned.

5 of 5 Grandpa likes it Sunday, November 02, 2008
Dean Keith from Carrollton, TX
I bought these for my father-in-law. He writes, "Thanks for the earphones ! They work fine---in fact too good. I was 5 feet from the loud "hard of hearing" phone ringer. I was plugged into my CD player and never heard the phone ring...... Much lighter than my giant earphones put on the shelf.." Of course, he is a little hard of hearing - or so his wife says.

1 of 5 sound is fine but not that good quality earphone Sunday, November 02, 2008
Kbhancha from norfolk
I bought this earphone for sale for $10 but I am not satisfied with this product. The bass is very poor and the sound quality is also not that good.

4 of 5 Cancels too much noise . . . Sunday, November 02, 2008
aspork42 from Big Rapids, MI
Okay, these do a decent job of noise cancellation being that they are passive (unpowered). When I wear them it becomes very easy to ignore any remaining noise around me. My friends around campus have already told me that they called my name and I didn't hear them. The downside: There is NO BASS response at all on these. They are rated down to 20hz but I think that they don't really respond to anything below 150hz. It makes your songs sound completely different. For the price of $10, a good deal. They are comfortable and come with three different size earpieces for different size ears. They will not sound like your other headphones, though.

5 of 5 Just what I was looking for Sunday, November 02, 2008
A Customer from Chicago, IL
I agree with other reviewers that it seems doubtful that these sell for $70. However, I have been very pleased with them. I actually find that they do a VERY GOOD job of canceling out ambient noise. Not like the really fancy headphones, but they do a good enough job that I have to remove them to hear people talking, even when I don't have music playing. They work great for commuting on public transportation and were certainly worth the price.

5 of 5 Wires tangled up Sunday, November 02, 2008
A Customer from Amherst, NY
Wires are very fine, unnecessarily long, which makes them difficult to untangle. Better to pay more and get less.

2 of 5 RCA ear buds fail to impress Sunday, November 02, 2008
A Customer from Florissant, MO
I bought the RCA ear buds to use with a new mp3 player I bought. After about 20 minutes of use I realized the sound quality was very poor. No bass, weak mid range. I gave them to my young nephew.

5 of 5 good deal Sunday, November 02, 2008
Chip Canoli from Central Illinois
I bought these for my wife to replace the far-more-uncomfortable ear buds that came with her iPod. She loves them. Great sound, great value.

4 of 5 Retail Price Not Realistic Sunday, November 02, 2008
A Customer from Memphis, TN
For the sale price of $9.99, these earbuds were a pretty good deal. I take exception to the posted retail price of $70 in the advertisement. That seemed like a ploy to overstate the sale price discount percentage. There's no way these earbuds could sell for $70 at retail.

4 of 5 OK for the money Sunday, November 02, 2008
Bob A. Booey from Pittsburgh, PA
Certainly have a cheap feel to them. Don't seem to have any noise-isolating qualities.
