5 of 5 Works great for my Dell Tuesday, May 27, 2008 A Customer from St. Louis, Missouri
I have an Dell Inspiron and it gets hot and sometimes would shut off by itself because it gets so hot. After using this pad with my laptop, my laptop does not shut off any more. This really keeps my laptop cool.
Wish there were other colors. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Portable, but semi-useless. Saturday, February 23, 2008 A Customer from Houston, TX
In buying this product, you really need to be careful to make sure that your laptop does not have vents in the bottom, otherwise it will block them and raise your temperature by many degrees. I find that propping my laptop up with a small booklet in the back solves the annoyance.
The notebook cooler works well to dissipate heat but cannot be used for long periods of time. After long use, the notebook cooler must be "recharged" by cooling of for a period of 2-3 hours before it will become effective again.
When it does work, it cools the laptop by 4-5 degrees centigrade which is pretty decent. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Very solid product Wednesday, September 26, 2007 A Customer from Chapel Hill NC
Lightweight and really does enable the laptop to run cool. Best yet -- needs no power. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Surprise! Friday, August 31, 2007 A Customer from Lakeville, MN
Pros: Keeps laptop and lap cool, more portable than hard cased fan models, and doesn't need to be plugged into laptop or outlet.
Cons: Surface is smooth so laptop can slide if not on a level surface.
I was looking to replace my old dual fan cooler. I was a little skeptical that this could do the job but I am glad a took the chance and tried it. After an hour of continuos work my laptop doesn't feel hot to the touch and my lap is cool. Does a great job, I am very satisfied. Was this review helpful?
