That is to say, not very. Just try this segue and see how it suits you: The Zombies' "Time of the Season" to Billy Idol's "Eyes Without a Face" and then to Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale." If that makes sense to you, then you won't really mind the whiplash-causing stylistic shifts. If they had shaved off a few years on either side, however, and made it 1970 to 1978, the disc might have been good, as the there is a nice mix of tunes lifted right out of heavy AOR rotation from Grand Funk ("We're an American Band"), Foghat, ("Slow Ride"), and Mountain ("Mississippi Queen").
