The Shack was a very refreshing book. It kept my attention and was hard to not think about during the day. It keeps your interest from the first page to the last. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A Literary Masterpiece Friday, November 07, 2008 Richard from Port Angeles, WA
The most 'meaningful' book I have ever read!
Perhaps not the best from a purely technical writing aspect, but an unusual and poignant story! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A Great Read!!! Friday, October 10, 2008 A Reader from Quakertwon, PA
Young's style and insights will hold anybody's interest. Young presents an approach to the Trinity that will keep you interested without preaching, a great read. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 LIFE IMPACTING Friday, August 29, 2008 connie from Beverly, Ma.
Presents the Trinity in a down to earth, where I live level -brings all 3 into the reality of my life here on earth - they each love me and interact with me.
The story in and of itself is powerful, tragedy turned into the beauty of the father's life 'after' his encounter with the Trinity.
A must read and reread and reread - with your highlighter in hand!! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Reveals the truth of who God really is Sunday, August 24, 2008 Donna from Kenner, La
This book has impacted me and my relationship with God so I bought 5 books from Buy.com to give to friends and family. My copy was given to me as a gift. What is so great about this book is that it answers questions that we all wonder about God's character like 'if God is a loving God why would He allow this to happen.' It displays His true character that our world has distorted. My relationship with God has forever changed and each day I am amazed at His unconditional love for me and all of His creation. 5 of 5 Everyone should read this book! Friday, August 22, 2008 deetrow from Mabank, Texas
I heard about this book on the God Journey as Wayne and Brad talked so often about how it came to be. I am so glad that a publisher came forward and decided to publish it. I am not done with it yet but so far I think it is terrific. I think outside the box as far as religion is concerned. You can still be a good Christian without being a part of a structured church. You don't have to be inside a church for God to see you and be a part of your life. So far, that is what I am seeing in this book. It is controversial but so worth reading! I can't to see where it goes. My son and daughter-in-law loved it! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 An Incredible Read Wednesday, June 18, 2008 A Reader from Tacoma, WA
Although this is only a novel, it is an incredibly powerful read, dealing with the real issues we all face, "Where is God in the midst of our tragedy?". I couldn't recommend it any more highly. Was this review helpful?

This book is unbelievable! It has so much insight; it was like reading Revelations, but for the hear and now. I'm getting 10 more to give away now and I'll get more when I run out of those. This is one book everyone needs to read. Was this review helpful?

This is the third order I'm placing because I just have to give one to everyone!! It's hard to explain how important this book is in a world full of hurt and questions about its source as well as our place in this world. You will never regret reading this book and I challenge you to read it just once!! Was this review helpful?
