Since its publication in 1984, this work has stimulated the minds of readers of all ages and backgrounds. Now the original 14 drawings are available in a large portfolio edition of loose sheets. In addition, there is a newly discovered 15th drawing, the Youngest Magician, which is included with an updated introduction by the author.

Annotation:
Are those birds on the wallpaper really flying out the window? How did the ocean liner get onto city streets? Make up your own story from the 14 thought-provoking pictures of impossible situations--or just look at them and wonder.

5 of 5 Harris Burdick Posters Thursday, January 31, 2008
A Reader from Danbury, CT

This is a fabulous set of the illustrations depicted in the Mysteries of Harris Burdick. The posters are a great source for kids to write their own stories, as only the title of the picture is listed. Kids' stories can be viewed on the Chris VanAllsburg website or they can submit one of their own. While the description here labels it as a calendar, I was sure to check the ISBN to be sure it was the posters. I ordered them for my staff and they are indeed the large posters! A great value to be treasured for ages!
