| Author Bio| Kevin Henkes | | Author and illustrator Kevin Henkes had his first book, entitled ALL ALONE, published in 1981 when he was only 19 years old. Since then, he has become an enormously popular author of picture books and novels for middle-grade readers, notably the Newbery Honor Book OLIVE'S OCEAN.
