If your interested in learning about knots, this is THE book. Written by Clifford Ashley at the ebb of commercial sailing, it provides historical perspective as well as concise instructions, illustrations, and useability of each knot, nearly 4000 in all. Check out your local librarys copy if your unsure. You won't need another knot book.
