From the Publisher:
Derrick O’Keefe was summoned by U.S. Ambassador Allen to locate a fictitious suspect in a diamond heist. The trail seemingly leading to the perpetrator was a cleverly devised scheme. An elaborate foreign counterfeiting distribution ring operated by the C.I.A. was unearthed and a surreptitious entry into the facility captured evidence of the vast conspiracy. A woman posing as a photographer, but agent incognito, became involved with O’Keefe. MBS News Syndicate was secretly presented the damaging proof, which was artfully exhibited to the media for purchase. The Black Operation Branch intercepted communications between MBS and O’Keefe. Grave things started happening to media personnel. MBS agreed to rendezvous with O’Keefe in Seattle. Agents intervened at the last moment—which was too late. O’Keefe and his accomplice eluded government agents and the incriminating documents were seized from MBS. O’Keefe later met with Ambassador Allen in Switzerland. Key officials later discreetly dismantled the program.

5 of 5 This Was A Good Piece Of Work. Wednesday, February 08, 2006
A Reader from Northeast, PA
I was initially a little dismayed with the perceived shallow (or perhaps predictable is a better word) nature of some of the characters, but after finishing the book I now understand the reason for portraying it in that manner. I think the most enjoyable portion of the book for me was the development of Big Dog. He was cool. I liked the persona that you showed - a tough guy with brains. He was strong and sharp, but in a totally believable way. I also liked the way He and Derrick were both solid characters together, not one leading the other around by his hand. Good move there. I also liked the thought given to the cleansing of forensics, it was a good addition that didn't insult anyone's intelligence. It added to the reality of the story...The scene that was building on the ferry was awesome...All of that said, I tip my hat to you Jim, this was a good piece of work. In the past I have stopped reading "rags" half way through due to their lack of continuity. I've got to admit, for your first piece I was impressed that it went this well. I'm hoping to see you continue in your efforts. I hope you don't find the comparison distasteful (I'm not sure if you've read any of his stuff, or like it...) but this story reminds me allot of Clive Cussler's writings about Dirk Pitt (See the movie "Sahara" if you haven't read Cussler before). I have a friend that I would like to refer to The Ambassador's Agenda."
