I've installed two of these in my cars. The first was in a Jaguar X-type. It's nearly identical to the Sirius radio the dealer installs, fitting perfectly into the ashtray opening. The flip cover for the ashtray opening can then close and hide the radio. I had the cigarette lighter relocated to the driver side of the console hump near my right knee to give me a plugin for other devices if needed. I installed the second into a Jaguar S-type using the same configuration, but eliminated the lighter since there is an auxillary plug in the console storage bin. Both work perfectly and look factory installed. They use the direct antenna input with automatic cutout of the FM signal when the XM radio is on.
