| Author Bio| Donald Crews | | Donald Crews attended Cooper Union School for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City. His first book, WE READ: A TO Z, was published in 1967. He often places the names of family members in his illustrations and works personal messages into his art. He is married to author and illustrator Ann Jonas. They have two daughters, one of whom, Nina Crews, is also a picture-book author and illustrator. |
