Just writing to update my prior review. I know I only rated
this a 3 on 3/23/09, but Tekkeon has since sent me an adapter
that enables the mp1800 to properly charge an iPod Touch 2nd
generation. I just tested it today and it charged the iPod
fully, and also allows you to use the iPod while still charging.
So I will rate this product a 5, but be aware you need a special
adapter for use with an iPod Touch 2nd generation. Was this review helpful?

This review applies to the iPod Touch 2nd generation. The product seems easy enough to use. However, it does not charge the ipod Touch 2G consistently. You hook it up and it starts charging, but then stops after a few minutes. I have contacted Tekkeon and they assure me they have an adapter to solve this problem and will send me one free of charge. I have not received it yet. Product should be advertised as not compatible with the ipod Touch 2G at this point, or tell people the adapter is on its way. Also this product does not come with an AC adapter to charge the battery. You have to charge thru computer USB. Unless you already have an AC adapter with USB port. So I'm rating this a 3 due to the problems I'm having but I hope the company comes thru and solves them. Was this review helpful?

I love this little charger!
My phone (an LGVU) is always running out of batteries... it goes from showing three bars then BAM it's down to two then one within minutes so i'm frequently using this charger to give it the extra juice it needs to get me home so I can plug it in...i've used this thing 2-3 times to charge up my psp and my lg vu and it still has over a 50% charge! The Tekkeon rechargeable battery works well in charging both my cell phone and iPod. Seems to work quickly and has plenty of juice - I was able to recharge my cell phone and iPods twice before it showed it was getting low on juice.Takes a few hours to recharge through the USB port. A selection of tips but no iPod tip, too bad. Nice and compact, even has a flashlight function which has some usefulness. Was this review helpful?
