Made from high quality water-resistant nylon with PVC vinyl backing that is extremely sturdy and durable -- in fact, this material is rigid enough to stand up on its own without collapsing -- these dust covers an ideal way to protect your decks against dust, spills, and grime. The fabric design acts as a filter to trap dust and dirt before it can ever reach your gear, providing protection that will likely prolong its playing life since dust and other debris are one of the biggest causes of equipment failure. Having long ago misplaced the dustcover to my 80's era turntable, I wanted to pull it out and use it again, but didn't want dust and debris to get into the works. Looking online, replacement covers were not available from Yamaha. This nylon cover was my only alternative. Surprisingly enough, it works nicely, and compliments my setup quite well. Shipping was incredibly fast. The price was fair. Product appears to be well-made.
