3 of 5Did TEAC really design this? Saturday, September 06, 2008 A Customer from Silver Spring Md
I have bought a couple of TEAC products because of their fine tuners and easy of use. While this product tuner is OKay, it was a rather odd user interface. The strangest part of the operation is that when you turn it on, rather than defaulting to a preset mode it defaults to some wierd channel scan mode. This means that if you try to change stations the tuners goes nuts looking for all stations. This is also the only TEAC which the auto scan could not distinguish stations, it stumbles around preseting every frequence, even though nothing is really being broadcast. This forces you to do a manual set for presets. Which means when you turn it on you have select the present mode before using it or it will go nuts setting phantom stations.
Which leads me to ask, is this really a TEAC product? I don't get it.
