I've been using this tax software for a couple of years and I really like how easy it is. I just input whatever information they ask for and it calculates everything for me. If your taxes are pretty straightforward, then this is much cheaper than going to a tax preparer Was this review helpful?

This is the fourth year in a row we as a family have used TaxCut and it continues to work well for us. The price is certainly reasonable, especially considering how much better a return we're able to get being able to quickly and easily itemize our deductions. It's also quite handy being able to have a very similarly designed previous year's copy of TaxCut to reference back to (in addition to the past year's import feature already built-in) as a result of sticking with one program for multiple years (and since TaxCut has not vastly deviated from their previous designs). We'll be continuing to use TaxCut for the foreseeable future. Was this review helpful?

I have never had a problem with Taxcut until now. The program is deducting our stimulus payment that we received in 2008 from our refund. My friend call H&R Block and they said this is not correct. I am still investigating this problem and trying to figure out what to do. I'm hoping they will fix the program with an upgrade. Was this review helpful?

Why buy direct from H&R Block or any other retailer when Buy.com has the best price?
This is my third year using TaxCut instead of TurboTax. The ONLY option that I miss is being able to import my W-2 info from a 3rd party. Other than that, this is a great product. Was this review helpful?

I'm switching this year to Taxcut from Turbotax because I think Turbotax has become a ripoff! This year you are only allowed to do one Federal tax return with Turbotax. Taxcut may not have all the pretty screens but it has the same functionality. Also I found a Taxcut 2008 Premium download at MDofPC Custom Computers for $14.20 if you don't want the CD and packaging.
