The primary advantage of this small mouse is the retractable cord. It is a great convenience to let the cord roll up and put the small device in a pocket in my notebook attache case - no long USB cord flopping around. The retractor seems foolproof so far.
The mouse performance is steady, but not meant for long term use - I think larger hand users will tire of squeezing their fingers together to hold this tiny device. But that trade-off is OK for me since I dock my computer most of the time. Despite this concern, I still prefer using a mouse over the touchpad or post when a table top is available. Small and easily transported, this mini-mouse makes your notebook into a desktop. Cord management is always a pain, but this retractable system and handy carry pouch make storage and transport a breeze. I love mine and a colleague of mine's had one for years and loves it. Enjoy! This is a fantastic solution for a laptop. I don't like touch pads or even the stick in an IBM ThinkPad. I used to carry a full size mouse. This is virtually weightless and can fit in any spare part of a laptop bag. I initially found my hand felt cramped because I was trying to hold it with the same fingers I use for a full size mouse, but I consciously just rearranged my fingers and found it to be incredibly easy to use for long periods of time. I LOVE this little mouse. It’s so compact but it doesn’t feel too small. Portability is awesome as its cord is retractable. There’s not one downside to this mouse! I highly recommend this for any laptop user. This is also the first time I've owned an Optical Mouse and I will NEVER go back to a track ball mouse. You no longer have to drag the mouse everywhere and when using a laptop that’s really helpful!!! You can also use this on almost any surface! Was this review helpful?
