The Targus Auto/Air Power Inverter Slim Line Style is designed for the mobile professional or recreational user. It provides a power source for most electrical devices in RVs, cars, airplanes or boats. Simply plug into the cigarette lighter plug or in the airplane seat power plug to power or charge up to 4 devices. It features two 120V AC plugs, one USB port and one Targus PPS port. The PPS port can be used with the Targus Auto/Dual Digital Device Power Adapter (APP2001US). The APV12US can deliver 150W of continuous power and up to 180W of peak power. It is safe to use and features over-current, over-temperature and surge protection. The Targus exclusive slim design is lightweight and ideal for travel.

Used the inverter for first time this past weekend on a trip where I was in the car a total of about 25 hours. It works as expected. I am using it with a Eee PC. It seems to not only supply power fine but also charge while using the device and that was while watching movies. I hope it does as well when flying. The only negative is it is a tad noisier than I expected but the passengers in the back seat of the car said they did not even notice it. I would have given it a 5 for performance except for the noise.
