Purchased this drive from MegaLoot4u in the Buy.com Marketplace on 03/03/08 and received it well packaged and working great in less than four days. It is black and very small like my Asus Eee PC. So far a great product. USB powered using only one port. As long as your needs are read only and not burn this is the product to have with your Eee 7" PC. This item works exactly as described and is easy to use. It's not readily stated in the literature, but to get enough power it requires plugging into TWO USB ports through a y-cable that comes with it. This is worth it to me for the occasional use it gets (mostly loading new software) and the ease of not needing electric power. Was this review helpful?

Connects quickly, plays my movies perfectly. But I bought this for when I travel, which I haven't done so since. I use a media-bay battery on my laptop so I have better battery time, which is the reason for this purchase. I will post another review after I travel with it a few times to see how well it holds up. Drive arrived as expected, even with the slower "free shipping" option. I plugged it into a new Vista machine, which recognized the device, automatically installed the needed drives and the device has worked just fine. Was this review helpful?
