I purchased one of these locks about 5 years ago and was very happy with it, so I purchased another one recently to lock my 750GB external HDD and laptop. I really like how easy it is to change the passcode, how easy it's to put on and take off. For the price, it's really a great deal. I like the combo lock better than the key lock because I don't want to have to carry an extra key (or lose a key). The only thing that I haven't been able to truly test is if it works against a thief. I've tried to break it with my bare hands when it's connected to the laptop, but it's not possible as far as I can tell. I spend a lot of time in the library and always lock my laptop using this lock (very convenient when I have to take a restroom break).
