    It works perfectly, I only have not used the car charger but I assume it will work just as good. If you have bought a laptop in the last year and a half you will have to go to the website that the instructions say, type in the model number and it will tell you what plug to use.

    I needed a travel adapter for my Dell Precision M4300, I tried the other Targus adapter but it didn't work for my computer. This model works very well.
