5 of 5 Fast & Light Wednesday, December 17, 2008 Dallas Decker from Ocean View, HI
This mouse is truly plug & play. It's fast and light, and recharges quickly and easily. The charge lasts along time, so it is truly wireless. The icing on the cake is the price - it just can't be beat. I am very satisfied with it. Was this review helpful?

Works great. Don't have to be changing batteries constantly as it comes with rechargeable batteries. Awesome especially for the price. Was this review helpful?

1 of 5 Mouse generates lag Tuesday, July 01, 2008 Michael Montgomery from Sugar Land, Texas
This mouse is indeed quite a bargain for a rechargeable mouse.
However, it has a fatal flaw which caused us to return it to the store: the mouse sometimes generates lag.
I first bought the mouse for my son, and after a few hours of using it, he told me the mouse made his games lag. I could not think of any way a mouse could do that, so I tried it for awhile.
Perhaps an average of once every 5 minutes, when I pressed the mouse button to click, my computer would freeze for 2 or 3 seconds. When the computer began to respond again, I realized that the mouse click seemed to have gotten lost; my computer system had not received my last mouse click, so I had to click it again.
For routine use, this would be a bit of an annoyance. Some people might be willing to put up with it, but I would rather get a better mouse.
For real time gaming, this mouse is an absolute disaster. Having your game freeze for a few seconds in most games means instant death. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It Works! Monday, June 30, 2008 Jim Duignan from Redwood City, CA
I'm left handed but learned to mouse righthanded. Strange things happen when I use a touchpad. I was looking for a wireless mouse that didn't eat batteries. This seemed unique: rechargeable while in use, compact, and no frills. The Buy.com price was definitely right too. It's only a couple of weeks usage, but no problems. The printed directions could be better. There is a reset on the receiver that is not mentioned. If the mouse and receiver don't communicate out of the box after charging, you may have to reset on the mouse AND the receiver. The website directions are clear though. Was this review helpful?

Product never worked.
Based on my experience and the number of other negative reviews, I strongly recommend against purchasing this item.

4 of 5 Targus Wireless Mouse Monday, June 23, 2008 S.L.N.Murthy from Toluca Lake, California
I got this well packed from Buy.com. It is working fine after an initial charge of 6-7 hours. I found it quiet responsive. I drained out the batteries once to see its performance and found that it becomes sticky. Unfortunately, the low battery light indicator does not come up. This is one thing I could not figure it out. It comfortable to hold and use. I generally keep the battery charging while using on my desk. A good buy as there are no hassels of replacing batteries often. Was this review helpful?

The receiver on the first mouse we received was not working and Buy.com replaced the mouse without any problems. The second mouse worked out of the package without any issues. It has to be charged for eight hours (per manufacturer) before first use. XP immediately recognized it and worked with it with no problem. The mouse speed was somewhat fast so we toned it down through the mouse control panel. No other adjustments needed. Really good the way storage of the receiver in the bottom of the mouse turns it off thereby saving power. Works while being charged off a USB port if the batteries lose power.
The price was slightly higher than other wireless mice but the added features are easily worth it. Just took a vacation with the laptop and mouse. No problems. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 Less than perfect Friday, June 06, 2008 A Customer from Spokane, WA
As noted by others, it has a tendency to become unresponsive. Actually, it seems to always track motion, but frequently the clicks do not register.
I did have the batteries drain down (became completely unresponsive) but it never turned on the low battery LED.
For a travel mouse it seems very well suited and is not unreasonably small, even for my large hands. It IS NOT a full-size mouse, of course I had no expectation that it would be. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best value for money Wednesday, June 04, 2008 Makam S Balaji from Syracuse, NY
I bought the mouse a month back and i have been using it regulary. I use it with my laptop for about 5 to 6 hrs a day and i have charged it only thrice so far. its easy to charge and use. The design is great (USB can be stowed back into the mouse, rechargeable batteries, and USB cable), however, the mouse is little bulky. But given the price, its the best mouse i had so far. 2 of 5 so so Tuesday, June 03, 2008 shengcer from Jersey City, NJ
The price of this item posted by buy is indeed cheap. However due to its small size probably designed for travel use, I really feel uncomfortable using it. And it takes really a short period of time after charging it once. Anyway, if you wanna employ it for normal office use, it might not be a good choice. Was this review helpful?

Mouse was easy to install on a Dell Laptop computer with Vista Home Premium. Problem is that the mouse loses its wireless connection frequently. So you need to wait until it finds the connectiion and then it works fine for another 15 minutes. This is a very annoying problem. I would not recommend this mouse for purchase. 5 of 5 It is bigger than you think Wednesday, May 21, 2008 A Customer from Houston, TX
Only drawback to this item is it is the size of a standard mouse. I was looking for something smaller. Works fine, no setup just plug and go. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great mouse, great price Sunday, May 18, 2008 A Customer from La Grange, IL
The mouse has an excellent high quality feel to it. Description doesnt say so but mouse has a scroll wheel. Large buttons make it easy to click/double click. Very accurate and easy to use even when not on a flat surface. My sofa, leg and chest have served as a mousepad. The price is unbeatable at almost any store. Highly Recommended. Buy.com shipping was very fast. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Thinking of buying another one Saturday, May 17, 2008 A Customer from woodbury, nj
I got one from a friend. She is right, it hesitates slightly on startup. I assume this is to save battery. I'm on one of several of my computers almost all the time. I'm thinking of getting another of these because I'm tired of having cords to trip over. The charger apparently was dead on the one that I got (it charges by being plugged into a USB port) and I was surprised at how long the batteries lasted once I found this out. I'm using it that way -- every few days I switch out batteries, but the thought of having a working charger -- just unplug and plug back in when finished, if I feel like it (before I found the charger was broken, I simply left it plugged in -- if something hit the cord and it got pulled out - OK, no damage - and no thought of having to unplug/plug-in), well, at $17, I'm having trouble resisting.
The hesitancy is slightly annoying. I found that I only occasionally notice it - maybe after switching from another computer - and that I automatically slightly move the mouse to "wake it up" and it is alert and alive after that. It is quite liveable. Perhaps I'll move it to the machine I want a new one for and see if it really will be a lot nicer - access is a pain where it is - and I am lazy when I'm in that room - TV on, etc.
I love getting great deals - if they work. If I never have to change the batteries as I do for my broken one, I think I could love this mouse. The hesitancy? Well, maybe it can't be any other way - but quite livable. [Now, what will happen if I have 2 of these close to each other? I'm guessing that they aren't that sophisticated and will tangle -- Oh well..] Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Better than ANY Tuesday, May 13, 2008 Wendy from Foley AL
Worked right out of box (after 8 hr. charge). Very pleased with this product. Couldn't figure out why 2 cables were included--one is for charging, the other has USB connectors at either end. Its to extend length of charger cord. A little better documentation would have helped. Also, can plug into USB port on my regular computer's USB hub to recharge. (This is my mouse for my notebook)Usual GREAT service from Buy. Is there anyplace else to purchase quality goods especially for "sale" items & when there's FREE SHIPPING!!!? Was this review helpful?

After losing several wireless mouse receivers I finally have found the solution. With the dockable receiver being held in place when stored you will always know where it is. The blinking laser on the mouse reminds you to dock the receiver before you put it away if you should forget. The rechargeable batteries are also very handy too. Just plug in and charge when necesary. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 I love it....Great Value Friday, April 25, 2008 M. Pandy from Raleigh, NC
I bought this from a weekly e-mail savings alert from buy.com. I am a huge fan of BUY.COM It was on sale for 19.99 and I purchased it through google so I got an additional $10 dollars off...WOW!!! I recently bought a notebook and the touch pad drives me crazy. I'd been looking for a mouse and what do you know I get the special offer from Buy.com. Once I figured out how to turn the thing on I was on my way. The computer recognized new device right away nothing to install, the connection was in an instant. It works like a dream accurate and fast mouse the screen movement. I got a great product for a great price. Get One it's worth it!!! Was this review helpful?
