I must say I was not prepared to get a stick this nice for the price I payed. It feels great in the hands and the buttons are well laid out allowing you to control both joystick and throttle while hitting any button with ease. It is heavy which I like and the adjustable resistance makes a big difference. I like it combined but the fact I can detach the throttle from the stick is pretty nice, as is the fact it works on my ps3 as well as my pc (I bought it for my pc). I would buy again in a heartbeat, and would even pay more. It is very precise. Was this review helpful?

Good solid stick. Very comfortable. The middle detente on the throttle makes for a bit less precision than my old Saitek x52, but the much more comfortable stick and movement makes up for it.
If you are looking for an inexpensive HOTAS setup, this is the way to go. If you have the money to spend, I'd still go for a Saitek x52 Pro for the larger number of programmable buttons. Was this review helpful?

Well, I have not tried a flight simulator in 15 years... but I am having a ball now! This joystick was easy to set up, is made with very good quality and is a kick in the butt. I invited one of my (real) pilot friends over to give it a try and he gives it a thumbs up. This is not an "airplane specific" joystick, it can be used and enjoyed on many airplane scenarious. My son just showed me how to use it to fly a helicopter. lol. It may boast about ready to fly with Microsoft's flight simulator and PS3, but I am using it with X-Plane 9 software (also very cool). I need a faster computer to really enjoy this great product ($200 spent on an E-machine computer still works for me). Buy it and enjoy! Was this review helpful?
