I tried System Mechanic and also Norton System Works. System Mechanic wins hands down. This has lot tools to make your computer fast. Useful for beginners as wells as folks who understand terms such as startup programs, registry etc. Was this review helpful?

I just installed this program and it went fairly smoothly. The first scan was accomplished quickly and the recommended repairs were done painlessly. Hopefully continued use will continue with similar action. Was this review helpful?

Good tool to tune up your PC, but the Anti-Viral seems to be lacking, Sometimes you get a virus that this software can't remove.. Norton is probably the way to go if you really ned great Anti-Viral Was this review helpful?

While the tools included work well, the anti-virus and firewall have given me constant problems. Frequently the firewall will not load. If there's an update to the product, it's an at least a 3 reboot process before the computer will work again as it locks up upon the first 2 times. I used it on mulitple computers (4) and they all had the same problems. Since then, I went back to Norton's Internet Security and only use the System Mechanic for the other tools. I did NOT have this problem when System Mechanic came with the Kaspersky software. Was this review helpful?

I have a 64-bit Vista computer and the software did not install. I looked on their web page and they currently do not support 64-bit.
I installed it on my old XP computer, and based on a Norton SystemWorks performance test, my computer actually ran slightly SLOWER!!
