5 of 5 Great backpack!!! Monday, May 12, 2008 An Pham from Alpharetta, GA
I would have to say this is by far the best back pack I have ever owned. It is of high quality and although I have only owned it for a couple weeks it seems as if it will last for at least 3+ years easy. So I would definitely recommend the Synergy backpack.

5 of 5 Great product, better price Monday, May 12, 2008 Jon Orweller from Kalamazoo, MI
I recently purchased this backpack from Buy.com
They beat the price of other "low price" places by about 40%!
The bag is great - Extremely durable, and has more padded compartments than I know what to do with. It is made of excellent quality materials, and I can't think of anything they could add to it to make it better. I highly recommend this bag. This is not a bag for someone looking for a small sling bag. This could hold a couple of laptops, and enough clothes for a couple day trip! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Bring your desk with you! Wednesday, May 07, 2008 Mike from Cleveland, Ohio and Zurich, Switzerland
This backpack has tons of storage, is very comforable and seems to be very high quality construction. It is full of features that show some serious travellers helped in the design. I especially like the double handle which allows you to get your laptop out in the airport security line without the whole bag falling off your suitcase. The only problem I have is that there is some much room and so many pockets that I carry too much stuff. Luckily, the support system is so good the weight is easily handled. I think my quest for the perfect bag is over! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Simply the best backpack Thursday, May 01, 2008 mike from Chicago, IL
Strong, durable, great looking, comfortable, full of pockets, stores just about everything you need for work and even an overnight business trip. I use it frequently for two-day, one-night business trips. Not only do I store all my work paraphernalia and laptop, but a complete change of clothes, dopp kit, etc. It's also great at the airport to. Easy-to-reach, conveniently-located pockets make accessing your ticket and I.D. a breeze. I tried out a number of different packs, duffles, small suitcases and combinations of all. This is by far the best. And I have a feeling I'll never have to buy another one. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Purchase Sunday, April 13, 2008 Eric from Virginia Beach, VA.
An incredible backpack and awesome value. This would cost almost twice as much retail. Very rugged and very practical with so many pockets that I struggle to find a use for all of them. The only negative is the included chest strap which isn't at all necessary. It's not like I'm going hiking with my laptop in tow with 75 lbs of stuff in the bag. Other than that, it looks great, works great, and is HIGHLY recommended! Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 built for comfort, not for speed Saturday, April 12, 2008 Nobby4u from New York, NY
This bag is a wonder to behold.
Pros:
- It has many compartments
- It very comfortable. I almost forget it's on my back because of the padding and how the bag evenly distributes the weight it holds
- The laptop is very secure, it's almost suspended so even if you accidentally drop the bag there's ample protection against destruction
- Very sexy design
- Can't beat the buy.com price
Cons:
- Too many compartments, you might lose stuff because you have so many places to put them
- It's a bit bulky

5 of 5 awesome Tuesday, April 08, 2008 A Customer from miami, fl
This is an excellent backpack. Big enough to carry my macbook and books to college. I bought a sleeve for my mac because I wanted extra protection, but its compartment is well padded. It's build to last long. Very happy with buy.com service. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 GREAT PACK AT A GREAT PRICE Friday, April 04, 2008 Jelantik from Boulder, Co
This is a great backpack. It's well built and I love the fact that this bag has lots of pockets. I even can't fill each pocket because they are so many. Few is even kind of hidden, so it's good to store something precious. This bag is also comfortable to wear for a long period of time. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Need one? Get this one. Sunday, March 30, 2008 A Customer from Westlake, OH
I'm a harsh grader, but this is exactly what I'd hoped for and have come to expect from Buy.com. Very satisfied, as it quickly replaced my $250 soft briefcase. Yes, it's a little heavy (a complaint I've seen) because it's a multi-purpose, quality-constructed backpack for your laptop, books, lunch, phone, et al.
Durability gets a 4 only because I would have designed it with the back support and waterproof lining a little higher, for when I set it down in the snow. Yes, that's my only issue! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great bag so far!. time will tell.. Saturday, March 15, 2008 Frank C. from NJ 07666
Great qualily..cannot complain..
everything you would expect, as listed..
a little heavy..with all that padding I guess..
I like the dual zipper concept on all pockets
except for 2 of them..
Overall good value.

5 of 5 Great sack for your back Friday, March 14, 2008 A Customer from Durham, NC
I use the backpack to tote my laptop and various accessories. I debated changing my score on the organization to a 4 just because there are so many pockets...but I guess too many is not a bad thing.
This backpack is beyond comfortable and is surprisingly light for how well built it appears to be, as I've only had it for a few weeks. I really like the base stabilization. The padding and air-flow vents are great features. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good but big Tuesday, March 11, 2008 A Customer from El Cerrito, CA
Overall I love the backpack for the usual reasons: durability, organization, comfort, well thought out design details (like being able to stand up, the hole for headphones, etc.). But it is bigger than it looks and not very compressible thanks to all the padding - if it was even the slightest bit bigger I wouldn't like it. I read a few reviews that identified various different versions of the backpack and it's a little frustrating to not know exactly what you're getting based on the description and picture. For example, some have chest clips, some don't. There are different versions of the laptop pouch. Etc.
But overall, this is by far better than any backpack I've ever seen. Thanks to the 20 or so pockets and the way they're organized, I never have trouble finding anything in this backpack, which is a big improvement. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent product. Excellent price. Monday, March 10, 2008 A Customer from Tulsa, OK
Bag is well built, has many pockets and compartments and sits upright when sat on the floor. Great price and quick shipping, too. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Rugged as well as beautiful ! Friday, March 07, 2008 A Customer from Sterling, VA
The backpack was delivered much earlier than it was expected. This item is worth the price - it's packed with the features - sections for documents, laptop, books, water bottle etc. It's graceful look complements it's padded back and front and it's durability. It's one of the best deals out in the market. I have it now for about two months. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great bag Thursday, March 06, 2008 A Customer from North Kingstown, RI
I really like this bag. It has lots of pockets that help to organize all sorts of stuff. I can finally find my ipod, for instance. My computer is much safer, and does not seem so heavy when I carry it. One of the best things about the bag is that the main compartment is wide enough to hold files sideways, which makes it easier to find what you want. The bag's only down-side is that the chest strap is up high enough that it is not as comfortable as it might be, but if you slide it down a bit it is better. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best backpack I've ever purchased Wednesday, March 05, 2008 Daniel from Fairfax, VA
I've had this backpack for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. I wish I would have known about this in college because it would have helped with carrying around all sorts of stuff. So far I've decked out this backpack with 2 textbooks, some spiral notebooks, my laptop, my nalgene bottle, and a few other things. I have a 15.4" Dell XPS M1530 and it fits in the laptop slot. To be honest, the laptop fit is a bit tight, but the backpack zips up without any problem.
My favorite feature about the backpack is the straps. They are easily adjustable with the backpack on and I really enjoy the horizontal strap that goes across the chest. It helps keep the shoulder straps in place, which makes carrying all the things I mention above surprisingly comfortable.
My only complaint is that it doesn't have an obvious spot to hang a nalgene bottle on the outside, although I guess you could attach it to the top handle using a carabiner. But that hasn't been a problem since I can fit the nalgene bottle inside with everything else.
All the pockets are great, and the backpack stands up on its own no matter how much or how little you put in it. That makes accessing the contents very easy.
I highly recommend this product. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Perfect for the new Macbook Tuesday, March 04, 2008 karob29@gmail.com from California, CA
This is by far the best backpack I have ever owned. It's rugged and fits all my schoolbooks along with my 13" Macbook. It's worth noting that the laptop compartment is raised off the bottom of the bag so if you bag gets dropped your laptop should be safe. Under the laptop compartment at the bottom of the bag is another cushion. I bought this with laptop protection in mind. 100%!!!
It has a ton of space for everything else I take with me. Heavy duty zippers and drink holders. I'm an average build (5'10" / 165lbs) and the bag loaded up fills comfortable and secure on my back. The padding on the back of the bag is very nice! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Awesome Monday, March 03, 2008 Dennis from Woodland Hills, CA.
This is the best backpack I've ever owned. It can fit my books, one of which is about 15 lbs at the least, with my dell laptop and at the same time it is very comfortable on my shoulders. The design is very stylish. I have no complaints, esp. with the $30 I saved for buying it here at buy.com. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Backpack!!! Friday, February 29, 2008 A Customer from Fremont, CA
I've been using this backback for about 3 weeks now, and I love it. After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant because it was said that the bag is kind of heavy. It is heavier than any other backpack I've had but it is not bad at all. It has several pockets that keeps everything organized. I would definitely recommend this. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Synergy Laptop backpack Wednesday, February 20, 2008 Andrew from Raytown, MO
This is a well designed backpack with plenty of room for your laptop and books. Sturdy construction. It apperars that a lot a thought went in to its design. Sufficient padding for your laptop and good padding for your body makes this comfortable to wear. I have recommended this backpack to several friends. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great backpack with lots of room Friday, February 15, 2008 A Customer from Fishers, IN
My wife bought this pack for me for a business trip to China. It made the "hikes" through the airports nearly pleasant. I have used it daily now for 8 months and have found it to be the best and most comfortable computer bag I have owned. Nice job Wenger! Was this review helpful?

I've used this Synergy backpack for 14 months now. The design and construction are great. It has so many compartments and pockets. I use this backpack instead of a briefcase for work. It seems really ideal for day to day to the office or traveling through airports. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and the back has 4 well-positioned pads so it doesn't hurt your back. The backpack is very balanced on my back even when it is full. This pack has no signs of wear & tear even after over 1 year of daily use. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good Looking, but heavy Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Katie from Atlanta, GA
I just got the backpack last night in the mail for my husband. It looks really good with lots of pockets. But I was unaware that it would be heavy. But my husband said that the shoulder pads helped and it didn't seem so heavy on his back. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Nice Bag, A bit Heavy Monday, January 28, 2008 Bruce Cohen from Forest Hills, NY
I read some other reviews. Buy.com had this bag on sale. I figured I would use this bag when traveling and/or wanting to use my MacBook in and around the city.
Its an extra heavy duty bag, and I feel safe with my electronic devices packed inside. I have a light weight Jansport bag that allowed water in and destroyed my IPOD, so I am much safer with this Wenger Bag. My only slight gripe is that the back is pretty heavy.
Other reviewers said the same thing, so I kind of new that the bag was heavy. The padded straps do make it comfortable to lug around. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 This Bag Delivers the Goods Friday, January 25, 2008 A Customer from Chicago, IL
Everything is so cushy inside this bag that I want to climb inside and make a nest for naptime. It's a bit dorky looking, but given that about 5% of my last flight had this exact bag, cool may be succumbing to my latest groove thing. I was concerned about how many sweaters I could stuff inside on top of my lunch and there's no problem. The reinforced bottom also simulates a cart that might hold a bushel or two of apples. 4 of 5 It's a backpack.... Monday, January 21, 2008 JGB in KY from Fort Mitchell, KY
This pack replaced one that I garbage-picked in 1998, which I had to retire since the zippers kept pulling apart. This new pack is much nicer, with many more pockets and storage locations. So many, that I have to hunt for stuff now. The chest strap is worthless, unless you are very skinny, my guess under 100 pounds. It does have a nice pocket for a PC, and a Key Clip in one of the zippered compartments. The Key Clip is directly above another zippered compartment, so you have to hold keys out of the way to close the zipper (design flaw). I really cannot comment on durability, since I've only had it a few weeks. It is pretty stiff and bulky. These last three items is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Not bad for fifty bucks. 5 of 5 Great Pack Thursday, January 17, 2008 A Customer from Crofton, MD
I ordered this pack for my Dell Vostro 1500 (15.4" wide screen) and it fits like a glove. There is plenty of room inside for lots of extras. I have a 3" 3 ring binder, several books, power cord and other peripherals. The fit and finish on the bag are excellent and it seems like a sturdy product. I liked it so much I have recommended it to several others who have also been happy with it. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 excellent laptop backpack Friday, January 11, 2008 danny from marietta, ga
I work in a formal business environment and was looking for a backpack that was both funtional and had a professional appearance. This backpack has exceeded expectations in both regards.
From a functional perspective, it has numerous pockets and is "well thought out" from an engineering perspective. It will stand up on it's own, it doesn't have any tendency to collapse around itself, and it has more pockets for docs and cables and other things a technical traveler would want than any of my previous luggable computer bags.
From an appearance perspective, it is conservative and impressive. I especially like the steel cable, wrapped in padding, that functions as a top handle. It is nicely padded in the back and straps, and is truly built to last. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Well built Monday, January 07, 2008 Randy from Rochester, MN
Very well built backpack for 15" laptops. Lots of storage space. Comfortable to wear. A bit on the heavy side, but quite reasonable considering the build. It is standing up to the significant quantities of books and extras that are going into it in addition to the laptop. Was this review helpful?

This backpack was truly a deal. It sells for about 80 in stores. I picked this up for 50 with free shipping from buy.com. This backpack holds my laptop, mp3 player, digital camera, cables, my stuff for work, and my grad school books. Best you will find! Was this review helpful?

The best thing I liked about the backpack is it's organization of space inside it and rich look of it's body material. But it's a bit heavy and look bulky.
Overall, I am pretty happy with the lots of space within my new backpack, but at the same time I am concerned about it's heaviness when it will be fully occupied.
The body material of the backup is of very good quality and has been made considering it's durability. The color combination of the backpack is very decent and professional.
This is a great backpack with a definite long life, I recommend this backpack. Was this review helpful?
