SVP Acqua DC1231 Red - Underwater 12MP Max. Digital Camera with Video Recorder/ 8X Digital Zoom/ Wat - ACQUA1231R

I purchased this camera right before a vacation in Hawaii and used it quite a bit for snorkeling. It worked great for both photos and video and I found it easy to switch back and forth. I just stuffed it in my pocket and dove in and didn't worry about it until I wanted to use it. Then the wrist strap and the fact that it floats was really nice. I didn't seem to have any problems with battery life like some have complain of but because of those I was careful about managing the power. But it was easy enough to do since it was easy to turn on and off and it has an indicator light. I loaded a 4GB SD card into it so I never had to worry about running out of space. As far as the quality of the pictures, I thought they were great. When the water is clear and the light is good and you can hold it steady the pictures turned out terrific. We were able to get some really nice pictures and video of a sea turtle, lots of amazing fish and each other. It was a lot of fun to be able to go back to the hotel and upload everything to the computer and share everything with friends back home. So much better than a one time use film camera. This camera also worked out great while ziplining on a rainy day. It is also easy to put it in and out of the case for unloading and since this can be used out of the case as a nice little pocket camera, I think this is a great value. I was also very impressed with the service from Mail-Direct. I made a mistake while placing my order and they took care of it and got my camera to me in time. Thanks again!
