My sons loves this game so much that when he lost it all he did was keep asking to go buy a new one. We finally broke down and allowed him to buy another one. This must be a totally awesome game as he has been playing computer games and video games since the age of 1 1/2. He is now 8 and masters most games in a short time. This game is as I say in the headline Da Bomb. The graphics are intense, the gameplay simple for newcomers to the Super Smash Bros. series, and difficulty of the game is fairly reasonable. This game has everything: awesome graphics, smooth and clear framerate, great gameplay, the extra kick of challenge that gamers expect, tons of secret characters, levels, and menus, etc. Again, the graphics are very smooth and beautiful. If you liked ssb1, you WILL love this game. Unlike ssb1, theres a lot more stuff to do. Along with the classic 1 player mode (fighting enemies until u reach the master hand, who is featured in this game) there is also an all new adventure mode. You are able to go through extensive levels and fight enemies. There are also endurance matches, for instance, on one of the game modes, you must fight 100 enemies without dying. That is just one of the other many things you are able to do on this game. There is also a new tournament mode. You can enter up to 64 players. play buy yourself in the tournament, or you and a friend can play. You will definately love this game. Full of action, and full of stuff to keep you playing. Besides the staggering decision by Nintendo to initially release this game in small quantities, Melee has everything going for itself. It's lightning fast, smooth, and has the most beautiful graphics I've ever seen. Definitely worth getting, any way you can do it. Was this review helpful?

OK. I think almost everyone is familiar with the game Super Smash Bros. 1 but when I heard this was coming I had to see it for myself. When I picked that controller up and played it for the first time I felt a rush of energy from seeing a game that someone put A LOT...of effort into. I give this game two controlers up. all of you who played ssb1 know this is gonna be the greatest game of all time in its genre.ive played it @ the cube club in philly and the game kicks so much.@ the cube club they gave me all this stuff from being just about the best there at ssb melee. ive reserved it in 3 stores just in case. I've played this game at one of the cube clubs across the nation,and it is 2000 times better than the first one in all categories. A lot of new characters are in it such as Peach,Bowser,the Ice Climbers, Shiek [hidden], and I have even heard rumors about Ganondorf!!!!!! Also, a lot of new items have been made such as the Superscope, growth mushroom, spy cloak, and a lot of new pokemon. Well to sum this up it is probaly the best game for GCN. Bye!
