2 of 5 Very poor viewing angle Wednesday, June 03, 2009

Unless you are looking at this straight on, the picture is very bad. I would guess the viewing angle is between 20° and 30°. A good LCD screen has a viewing angle over 150°. Did not come with Bluetooth software, Also, the remote button presses are intermittent.
Unfortunately for me I didn't get around to returning it within 14 days (it's been 16 since I've had it) and Buy.com won't take it back. I don't blame them - this is a crappy frame. Spend more and get something that you'll actually want to look at. Was this review helpful?

Everything is OK for this product, but only thing is i was not able to use the bluetooth. I believe there should be some CD-ROM for the bluetooth software to be installed on the PC/Laptop, but there is no such software/CD provided with this product and i cannot use the bluetooth functionality with this product.

This frame has a picture size you can enjoy at a reasonable distance - I have not figured all the details yet, but already enjoyable - colors are good - with limited viewing angle, so placement is important if you are going to put it on the wall.

Before buying this product I was trying to find some reviews on this but was not able to get any, and eventually looking at the products resolution and price I ordered it. Let me start with the Pros:
1. Very High Resolution (Just like your notebook)
2. Looks plush and grand with the wooden frame and feels solid
3. Blue tooth enabled and a blue tooth dongle provided to connect it to your PC
4. Value for money
The cons:
1. The screen flickers a little (gets bright n dim, may be its the product that I received)
2. There are no buttons on the frame to perform operations, every operation needs to be done with a remote and in case the remote is broken you will be stranded.
3. The photograph when shown does not fit on the screen, you have to scroll up, down, left, right to view the whole photograph (I tried 800x640 and 1600x1200 resolution).
4. The product does not auto detect portrait and landscape photos and tries to show the portrait photos as landscape itself (if you have selected the landscape orientation in the beginning while starting the slide show or vice versa).
But still the product was worth the price it was offered at, but I guess i will have to shell out some more money to get what I want! (I hope this review would be helpful to some of you) Was this review helpful?

This thing has acreage compared to my previous 7 inch frame that died after 2 years continued use (different brand).
The resolution is high and you should use your best photographs. The remote is great. The frame does not look cheap. I have not tried any audio or video on it, but that's not what I bought it for. It has many inputs. There are video inputs for a tuner or VCR, but why?

Got Sungale 14.1" Digital LCD Photo Frame weeks ago. It has nice features, bluetooth & AV inputs in addition to other
standards. The frame and image display are nice. However,
it is not very easy to use. Sometimes, the frame does not have
good response to the remote control.
Delivery from Buy.com was very quick.
