5 of 5 Great Value! Thursday, May 22, 2008
A Customer from Seattle, WA

This bread maker is incredibly easy to use! I've already made 4 loaves and I've only owned it for two weeks! My only complaint is that it's much bigger in person than the picture makes it seem. Make sure to check the measurements to see if it will fit in your intended space.

5 of 5 WOW! We compared it to a $300 brand too. Monday, February 18, 2008
Robert from Ogden, UT
For the money, we didn't go wrong. My Mother compared it to her $300 German brand with a stainless steel bowl and she kept my Sunbeam and told me to get another one. The stainless steel sticks real bad. I've had no problems with the Sunbeam sticking and I used the booklet recipe for both white and wheat (regular version, not quick bread) and added an egg to it and it was great. So the loaf is a bit of an odd size, I just turned it the other direction to slice. I have not seen any chipping of the surface of the bowl or paddle with this unit either and I see no reason to lock the lid down as the one person complained about. Cons: Yes, it would be handy if the readout was backlit. -- I still highly recommend this bread maker.

5 of 5 5 Star review Thursday, February 07, 2008
Chris from Dunkirk from Dunkirk, Maryland
I own the older model "Express Bake" Sunbeam breadmachine. My Mom didn't know that you can make bread in less than an hour. I purchased the 2lb Sunbeam express for her and she loves it. She is almost 90 years old and made bread the first try! She said it works so nice and mixes up everything just perfect and has little noise. We both would recommend!!

5 of 5 Good machine, bad recipe Wednesday, January 23, 2008
A Customer from Piscataway, NJ
The machine is solid and I have no problem with it. The problem is the recipe. I tried the basic recipe the result was no good. It asks me to put too much yeast and too little liquid. The machine began to knock because the dough was too dry. I find the best quantity by trial and error. After three tries, I am having a perfect recipe with this machine.

1 of 5 STAY AWAY!!! Monday, January 21, 2008
A Customer from Eastchester, NY
Negatives: 1. Lid doesn't lock so if bread runs aways -- tough 2. No pause button (only start/stop) 3. Finish/Paint from the blade started to come off after 1 use 4. Recipies in the book call for 5 tbsp of yeast which is ridiculous -- don't follow them Positives: 1. Cheap

5 of 5 Worth the money! Tuesday, January 01, 2008
Baker Tom from Palisades Park, NJ
Cool to watch the machine do all the work after putting in all the ingredients. End result was a surprising loaf of bread that actually tasted pretty good.

4 of 5 Can't Read Display! Monday, December 31, 2007
M.Olson from Rockford, IL.
This bread machine does make good bread. My gripes are: -READING the display, which is not back-lit and I find myself lifting the product up to a light so I can see what I am doing with it. -The delay feature does not yield as good a product as when you just start it fresh without the delay. -The paddle gets stuck inside the loaf about 50% of the time for me. It's non stick feature is miles better than the last bread machine that ate the paddle! At least it comes out now. Things I like: -The bread is good. Favorites are the quick bake breads (as long as you use fast rising yeast). -The measuring spoon is cool. -I use it a couple times a week.
