| | | There's No Escape When the Enemy is Family. Features: DVD When a devout and community-minded couple is found viciously murdered in their own backyard, suspicion initially falls upon the eldest of their three adopted sons; at 17, Daniel (Johnny Galecki) is an in-patient at a state mental hospital, has a history of violence, and has expressed hostility toward his parents. Furthermore, hospital records indicate that he had not signed in on the night of the murder. As a friend of the murdered couple probes the outwardly shy and obedient middle son, Brian (Neil Patrick Harris), for clues, a dark and disturbing truth is revealed. Joe and Maureen Hannigan were anything but the model parents they appeared to be. Unrealistic expectations, unreasonable punishments, and physical violence reigned in the Hannigan household. But which of their sons - if any - could go so far as to murder their own parents?
 Editor's Note
DOOGIE HOWSER'S Neil Patrick Harris stars alongside ROSEANNE'S Johnny Galecki in this made-for-television murder mystery. After the mother and father of three adopted children are found dead in their own backyard, an investigation begins which leads straight to the couple's eldest son, a mentally unstable boy named Daniel who is in the local psychiatric hospital. Daniel (Galecki) admits to tension with his parents in the past, but swears he did not commit the crime. But as the investigation lags on (with the help of Brian, the mild-mannered middle son), new clues turn up that throw the dead couple's parenting methods into question.
