There are many study Bibles, this one is a great tools for Seminary Students as well for people in the churches who would like to increase their knowledge of theology and history. My Church, LCMS, has endorsed this translation; therefore, I ordered this Bible. It lives up to the hype and more! As a buyer you will receive a code to read the Bibleand store your personal notes on the Web. this Bible is on the Web. You can also listen to a passage. The notes are largely based upon fact (for example, many notes lead the reader to passages that reflect on your initial passage. This is done by printing the second citation which pops up the verse when the mouse is over the reference (LK 6:30). If the reference is clicked, the full citation can be read at the top. In addition to the maps and illustrations, the Bible also includes articles that discuss issues of concern to Christians.

My suggestion is, use thin ribbons as bookmarks and a Bible cover.
Do not storing papers in this Bible will ruin the binding. Protecting the binding will give you years and years of good service. The more you use this Bible, the happier you will be that you bought it!
