The result is the logical conclusion of the directions both had pursued in the years prior. Earle was wrapping himself in an ever-edgier sound, while the Seattle band was kicking up more and more dust in the countryside since their country-soaked MUST'VE BEEN HIGH was released in 1997. The two forces team up for a song from each of their respective catalogs (Supersuckers' "Creepy Jackalope Eye" and Earle's "Angel is the Devil") and a perfectly suited take on The Rolling Stones' "Before They Make Me Run." The set is rounded out with the original versions of the first two songs.
