no mater how much you paid for this set, it's a waste of money. Opener is very flimsy. It's made of soft plastic (stretchable), as a result rack & pinion mechanism constantly slips. Opener became inoperable after the very first attempt to use it.

Wine opener broke the very first time I used it. What a disappointment. If the opener wasn't such a cheap piece of plastic this set would be a great value.

Terrific and beautiful box and accessories, but unfortunately the wine opener broke on the third bottle. The company quickly responded to a warranty request and sent a second opener, but that one broke on the first bottle. I should note that the first breakage was from a male user, and the second from a somewhat petite woman. I'm keeping the box but attempting to find a more rugged opener to go with the accessories.

Bought this for our daughter whose birthday isn't until August-- but showed it to her father and he was very much impressed by the quality of the tool set. Even the box it came in was a nice piece as well. He couldn't believe the price I paid for it -- and he would recommend anyone that enjoys wine -- to buy the set. AND he knew what every piece was for except for the ones that go around the wine glasses to tell who has which glass. :o)

This set contains a lot of items, some of which we couldn't figure out. Overall, this is a very good value. The corkscrew itself is worth more than the price.

Really looks nice for the price. Pieces fit very tightly in box, to the point of being difficult to get out. But a very impressive gift.

This set was purchased at Xmas and when it arrived it looked good and I really liked all of the accessories. However, during the first attempt to open a bottle of wine, the opener self destructed (a piece flew off the side) sending parts flying. We followed warranty instructions and in approximately 4-5 weeks received a new opener in the mail. They did not make me return the broken opener, so this did not involve additional cost. There have been no further problems. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it - hopefully mine is an isolated incident.

I bought this for my boss's birthday and he LOVED it! Nice set with nice cherry box to contain it all. Excellent sale price!
