    I am using this to switch between two Dell laptops. One is running Windows XP, & the other is running Windows 2000. There was no BIOS configuration needed to get it to work. There was about a minute delay after the first boot (for each computer) to get it to recognize the switch & attached mouse/keyboard/hub. My monitor has a built-in USB hub, & I'm also sharing it through this switch. <br><br> There is sometimes a slight delay when switching (typically 2-3 seconds), but nothing too bad. <br><br> The switch is made of metal & feels solid & quite heavy for its size. <br><br> The only con is the beep it makes when you switch. For home/home office use, it wouldn't be a problem, but the slight beep it makes annoys me. Maybe it needs a bit of modding?
