    I bought this for use in an AGP G4 Mac, and it performed eratically, sometimes connections would be lost after a period of time.

    i bought this for my G3 running OS X. took only a few minutes to put the card in. The system recognized it, as you would expect. No drivers to install. I got some slow transfer rate plugging my PSP to this.. a 700MB divx file was taking 8 minutes, same as USB 1.0, so I am not sure if it's the card or not.

    There's not much to a USB cable, but having purchased some that were shoddily made and others with irritating blinky blue lights, this is neither: it's a perfectly made USB cable. The plug action on both ends is right (unlike some where the end just don't quiiiiite fit.) Oh and, thank goodness it came in a simple no-frills plastic bag and not one of those terrible ones that require scissors to open. Yay!

    Great price for 4 usb 2.0 ports. Easy to install even on a 6 year old Compaq Presario running Windows 98. Had no problem installing and works great with external hard drive.

    This device is terrific - installed it in minutes, and Windows XP loaded the drivers for me when I rebooted. I didn't even have to use the CD-ROM that came with it, and it works perfectly. Fine product at a great price, recommend highly.

    I was very pleased with the product. It uses an Ali controller chip which just made it better. My computer immediatly picked it up and configured it. It runs smooth and is stable. Definitely a good deal.

    I've installed at least 4 of these in various computers, and they just work great. In my own computer, I'm using all 4 USB inputs with no problems. I have an Epson scanner, an Epson printer, a Sandisk 8-in-1 card reader, and a SimpleTech 120GB external hard drive all plugged into it. Windows XP and 2000 recognized the card and installed the drivers in a matter of seconds after booting up.

    My dad's PC got a jolt which knocked out the motherboard's 6 USB ports and also the network adapter port. We bought this PCI USB card to try to give him back USB capability and this card did the trick. NO problems, just opened the box and inserted the card. Also, BUY.COM shipped the item so fast it made my head spin! =)
