 Editor's Note
This sci-fi series really goes where no one has gone before. Though it's not as ingrained in the public consciousness as STAR TREK and its spin-offs, STARGATE SG-1 outlasted each of the shows in the Gene Roddenberry universe, making it to a landmark ten seasons. Like in the film STARGATE, the SG-1 team uses stargates to travel the universe, exploring the stars as they fight the Goa'uld, the Replicators, and the Ori. In the ninth and tenth season, series regular Richard Dean Anderson (MACGYVER) is only making occasional appearances, but the void is filled by veteran actor Beau Bridges and FARSCAPE alums Ben Browder and Claudia Black. This release includes every episode of the series' tenth season, including fan favorite "200," featuring Anderson and SEX & THE CITY's Willie Garson.

 | Stargate SG-1 Season 10 - DVD Review By: Mack Rawden - Cinema Blend DVD Reviews Published on: 8/21/2007 8:16 PM | | In all honesty, the twenty-one hours that I spent watching 'Stargate: SG-1 Season 10' was the biggest waste of time I have ever encountered. Here are a short list of things I would recommend that you do rather than buy this DVD: read a book, wash your car, wash someone else's car, check out 'Battlestar Galactica', clean out your gutters, or even let your wife teach you how to scrapbook. Yes, I've sunk to the level of endorsing scrapbooking. It's just that bad. ...read the full review |
 | Stargate SG-1 - The Complete Tenth Season - DVD Review By: Chris Beaumont - Blogcritics.org Reviews Published on: 7/23/2007 7:15 AM | | So, it has finally come to an end. Ten seasons of Stargate SG-1 and it is over. Was the final season any good? Definitely. Perhaps not quite as good as the years when it was at its peak, but it was definitely a cut above the last season or so, which saw the quality suffer as the cast went through some changes....read the full review |

| | Professional Reviews | DVD Review 9 of 10 "After disliking the feature film, I really didn't see much of a reason in going through the Stargate yet again. I haven't started watching this show until recently and after a few episodes, I've become very impressed with how well this show has translated to the small screen. You have two lead actors who are better in the roles than the original. Michael Shanks plays the James Spader character, scientist Daniel Jackson, and makes it a more interesting role, becoming less of the ""nerdy scientist"" that Spader played. Even better is Richard Dean Anderson, who takes the role that Kurt Russell played and makes it a lot less ""soldier"" and more ""human""."

5 of 5 I love the series Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Luther from Sherwood MD
I love the show but the item came with the center DVD holders broken. I tried 3 time to contact Buy.com and no one ever contacted me to replace the item.
I will think twice about making a bigger purchace than $30

5 of 5 Perfect order for Sci-fi fans Monday, September 24, 2007 Kris from Santa Monica, CA
If you are a fan of the series, this is a great way to get the DVDs at a reasonable cost. There were no flaws on the discs and they even came in a space saving mini-box format: the 5 DVD set takes up the place of 1.5 standard DVD boxes. Standard shipping was very fast too. An excellent buy overall. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 its not over yet Monday, September 24, 2007 A Viewer from holliday,mo.
season 10 was building up to the upcoming the ark of truth, it did leave alot of unanswered questions that have persisted since season
9. Little if any. They did finish some things and expounded on the
new enemy threat's. IF the ark of truth movie answers them all it i would feel alot better about season 10. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Sorry to see it end Wednesday, September 12, 2007 Star Gazer from Sacramento CA
Even after 10 years Stargate SG-1 is still one of my guilty pleasures. I began watching Stargate SG-1 when it began on Showtime and was happy (because I could stop paying for Showtime) and sad (because I had to fast forward through commercials) when it moved to The Sci-Fi Channel.
One of the things I like best about this series is that it looks like it is something that could happen. It's set in the present, doesn't get cheesy and has really great special effects. These last 2 seasons 9 & 10 were not my overall favorites, but 10 did make things interesting after a serious slow down in season 9.
Overall I love this series and look forward to watching it over and over. Was this review helpful?
