1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 great for the price Tuesday, June 02, 2009 A Customer from chicago, IL
I was really apprehensive about buying a machine online without trying it first. I am a former aerobics instructor and a bit of a gym rat. I moved to an area where there were no gyms close by and, since I don’t have a car, I decided to get a machine for my home. This one was inexpensive and got good reviews as far as I could see so I took a shot. When it was first assembled, there was a “shaving/rubbing” noise when it was operated, but it was the tension cord rubbing against the wheel in the back, so I just moved it more to the side and attached it there…an EASY fix. I have had it about two months and work out on it about an hour-an hour and a half approx 5 days a week and it is great! It needs to be oiled occasionally, but that takes about two seconds to do. It slides a bit on my wood floors but I have no mat underneath it and it’s not too much of a bother. I was worried about the stride length being too short, but I am a little over 5’5 and it‘s not a problem! The only thing that has been a problem is going backwards… the foot pedals detach, but I going forward it’s fine. Overall, I would say it’s great for the money Was this review helpful?
