3 of 5 Just an average BT hands free Wednesday, March 04, 2009
sat from Dallas, TX
The price was great. The hands free could have come with a mute button. Except for a little bit of static/hum noise here and there its seems to work pretty fine. Paired with my razr and nokia without any issue.

3 of 5 Works well with RAZR V3 Wednesday, December 31, 2008
Bill from West Union, OH
The SOYO FreeStyler 500 Model: BTWLHS01 works well with my RAZR V3, received good reports on sound quality and I could also hear clear with good volume the party on the other end, but my Samsung Instinct will not find the headset. I have had this headset for close to a year. Guess I will be putting it on the shelf unless I get the RAZR back out.

3 of 5 Good enough for the price Friday, December 19, 2008
Nate from Tampa, FL
This headset was cheap. The build quality was ok at best. The battery life is good. The big huge flashing blue light is a little annoying. The main problem I have is the sound quality. For the price I can live with it. But I wouldn't spend more than $10 to $15 on this headset.

5 of 5 Very good bluetooth Monday, October 13, 2008
A Customer from Solon, OH
This is a very nice bluetooth. It has a rather long lasting battery about 2-3 days depending on usage, which is charged quickly. Light, compact, easy to use, versatile, long range, no compatibility issues, even looks good. Unfortunately, occasional static or interference may occur, but that might be just my phone or the immediate area of the call. EXCELLENT FOR DRIVING.

1 of 5 Mine did NOT work Monday, June 02, 2008
A Customer from Paso Robles, Ca
I bought this for my wife the same day I purchased the Plantronics 510 for myself. It pairs only after reading the complicated instructions and then never worked with her cell phone. I could not hear anything. I would not buy this or recommend to anybody. Cannot return it to Soyo unless purchased from them. For the money, buy the Plantronics 510 - works 100% better.

3 of 5 high static, low volume, cheap price Sunday, May 25, 2008
A Customer from Pembroke, NH
I bought this to get away from the cords of earbuds. I find that even at full volume it is a lot softer than the corded earbuds, and the static is much more frequent. I'm not sure if I would buy this product again, or spring for a higher priced one and hope that the higher price would bring higher quality.

4 of 5 Satisfied for the Price Saturday, May 24, 2008
NB from New York, NY
I don't think you can buy a bluetooth headset anywhere for $10 that actually works. this one does, it just takes some getting used to. It has a pretty cool design feature that i've never seen before. The ability to change out the ear piece in a way that moves the mouth piece away from your face and clips it to your shirt, while the ear piece is still in your ear. At first it seems like an unnecessary, almost nonsensical addition. The problem i had is that when i used the headset the conventional way the sound quality was garbage. From right out of the box it was just bad and got worse, it seemed, over time. However, for some reason, this other design feature works like a charm. So in the end i spent $10 on a bluetooth headset that does work, i just had to figure out how to make it work. I'd recommend it to anyone that might want a back up headset, or if you're not into having the coolest hottest one, just one that works. But only get it if you can get it super cheap.

1 of 5 Don't go there. Friday, May 23, 2008
nleighd from Holyoke, MA
Doesn't work -- never did. Pairing was very easy, but sound only worked one way. I bought it for my partner who's on the road a lot. Needless to say, she was not impressed. I could hear her but she couldn't get any sound out of her end. Cheap, but still too expensive at that.

5 of 5 Very Good Bluetooth Friday, May 23, 2008

4 of 5 Easy to sync up. Wednesday, May 21, 2008
A Customer from Lynchburg, Va.
This item was at a great price and synced right up to my LG8600 phone. Volume is good and the sound qaulity was better than expected on both sides of the active call. The only downside was the distance the earpiece had to be to the phone (within 3ft.)This may be a phone problem? I am very happy with the purchase.

2 of 5 easy to lose, shuts down often Tuesday, May 20, 2008
A Customer from NYC, NY
The pros of this unit are that it is comfortable on the ear and that it has up and down volume controls. However, this unit is a two piece set, and the main part can easily slide out at any time. I had this for a month, until the main unit dropped off the earpiece holder somewhere in a parking lot. Needless to say, I wasn't aware of it until I went to remove the earpiece - and realized that it was missing. Therefore, all I had was one month of use before it was lost. The supposed reasoning is that they have another ear adapter that has a wire to a belt holder, but why would someone want to be wired with a bluetooth? The other negative is that it often shut itself down within minutes of powering up, although it was fully charged. Once you power it up again, it usually stayed on, but not always. Sometimes the sound was not great, but it could have been reception is certain spots.

5 of 5 Great deal for a headset! Does what it's supposed Monday, May 19, 2008
A Customer from Mission Viejo, CA
I got this for $0.78 when I used google checkout. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be a quality item, but it does what it's supposed to. Pairs great with my Pantech Duo and works like a charm. For the price, it can't be beat!

4 of 5 not bad for the money Wednesday, May 14, 2008
TommyZ from Taylor, TX
The earpiece is a bit different than most Bluetooth headsets, but because of the earbud that presses into your ear this headset actually stays put instead of flopping around while moving or bending over. The only functional thing that disappoints slightly is the low volume level. It gets better when using the included wired earbud, but that defeats the wireless idea.

1 of 5 Poor Bluetooth Headset Tuesday, May 13, 2008
John from Flagstaff, AZ
Purchased because of great price. However, quickly learned again, you get what you pay for. The volume is so low that it is very difficult to hear your conversation. The call quality quickly diminishes as you move away from your phone. Even though you are well within the working range of the headset (as per specs) things start to get fuzzy even if you move a few feet away from your phone. Also I found myself continuously having to reconnect the headset to my phone as the headset mysteriously disconnects itself. I know my phone is fine because I had no problems of this sort with my previous bluetooth headset (samsung) before I lost it. Great price but a product has no "value" in it if it doesn't work as advertised.

5 of 5 Great Bluetooth device for an unbeatable price! Tuesday, May 13, 2008
kitmeow6 from South San Francisco, Ca
Due to the upcoming law in Ca, I was on the lookout for a hands-free device. I don't use my cellphone much and would only utilize the bluetooth in my car so it didn't make sense to pay alot. Anyway, I searched around and read reviews and chose the Soyo Freestyler...it was only $10 (!) and with my GoogleCheckout discount I only actually paid $0.72 (!!). It was shipped within a week. I'm very happy with it. Set-up was easy and it's very clear- no complaints of static or background noise at all. It has 3-ways of wearing the device so you can decide what's most comfortable for you. I'm glad I didn't pay more for something else!

5 of 5 For the money, it worked! Tuesday, May 13, 2008
mikerone06 from Bakersfield, CA
It worked very well. It is simple, easy and will keep me from getting tickets this summer. I ordered 2 and for the money (5 bucks each) it was great. My wife likes it better than the $80 Motorola one she bought and lost last year because it was so uncomfortable. I use it only in the car, disconnect when I'm not driving. I charge mine every few days, when it gets low it gets more static.

2 of 5 You Get What You Pay For Tuesday, May 13, 2008
A Customer from KY
I ordered the Soyo FreeStyler 500 a few weeks ago and it is a terrible bluetooth headset. The static is so bad when you try to use it that I would rather just use the phone without the headset. I can hear better without the headset. You have to take it off to decipher the red or blue flashes to fiqure out how to turn it on or off. It is just not worth the money. Just put somemore money with it and get a good bluetooth headset that you can actually use.

5 of 5 Great, inexpensive headset! Tuesday, May 13, 2008
A Customer from Oshkosh, WI
For the price I was very impressed with how well the headset performs. I use it in my car infrequently when I need to make/receive a call. It seems to hold a charge for quite a while as long as you turn it off when you should be. My only complaint is how long it takes to turn off when you're holding the power button, which in the grand scheme isn't a real big deal. I'd definitely buy another.

5 of 5 Cost benefit is the best Tuesday, May 13, 2008
Rick Rosenblum from Huntsville, Alabama
I haven't had many Bluetooth devices (because they are expensive for what you get) but this one is by far the cheapest deal I've seen for a device that had everything I needed. If you are just using it to talk in your car with fairly close(windproof) low background noise surroundings, then this will do the trick. I mainly use it to be safe while driving and needing to talk to my wife at the same time. For $10.00 free shipping this was a one of a kind deal.

2 of 5 Disappointed Tuesday, May 13, 2008
A Customer from Poughkeepsie, NY
Unfortunately, the headset has a tendency to drop from my cell phone wehen they are seperated by being on opposite sides of my body. Also, the sound quality appears to become very poor as the power in the unit declines.

5 of 5 Impressive Tuesday, May 13, 2008

5 of 5 Great Headset for the Price Tuesday, May 13, 2008
shipman from Somerset, NJ
This is a great headset (paid $10 bucks total). Works without trouble and allows hands free operation while in car, or anywhere else. I absolutely love the fact that it has an earpiece that I can use and clip the actual device onto my lapel...much easier than wearing a geeky thing on your ear all day. Pros: great value, works good Cons: slightly fuzzy voice on my end. When reconnecting must hit button twice. Definitley recommended for budget / value dealers like me.
