Improved air flow improve cooling while reducing dust contamination: Super Air Flow Environment (SAFE) on all Sony DDS-4 drives provides improved cooling of the tape and drive mechanism while reducing dust contamination. Special vents draw cooling air around the tape and drive mechanism, reducing drive temperatures while keeping dust particles from penetrating the drive itself.
Integration kit includes installation essentials: The 11000/BM integration kit includes the basics need to integrate your new DDS-4 drive into your existing system. Accessories include a pre-installed 5.25-inch bezel to allow installation of the drive in a standard 5.25-inch drive enclosure, a spare 3.5-inch standard bezel, a DDS cleaning cartridge, and a user manual to help with getting started
