The Logitech case is the best choice for the money! I searched all of the stores on-line. It offers full protection for the unit plus you can play the PSP inside the lower half and fold it to watch movies. If going on a trip.I will fold it up in a sweat shirt to protect the Logitech case,before putting it inside of my suitcase. Was this review helpful?

I ordered this one specifically because I thought it looked cooler than the other ones that were available. Unfortunately it's not really very much like what's in the picture there.
Anyone interested in purchasing this product should FIRST look at the photos posted in the 'expert review' and decide based on those whether or not this is the case for them.
Overall, while it wasn't what that picture there shows (I almost sent it back at first.) it turns out that this is a pretty decent product, especially for the price paid, and provides excellent protection for my PSP, despite the ugly Logitech logo emblazoned on it. Was this review helpful?

This thing works like a charm. Sony slept on not making one of their own. I HIGHLY recommend it over ANY other protection. you can even sit the psp inside of it at an angle to watch movies. I have this protecting my PSP in my shoulder bag. The slipcase that comes with the PSP gets pulls easily, and isn't much protection. This thing is like armor plate. It's getting some scratches, but that's what it's designed to do - take the damage rather than my PSP. It fits perfectly and doesn't get in the way when flipped up. Highly recommended. This Logitech case is made with the same care and quality as their PC accessories. The case seems very rugged and is an excellent value for the price. I'm not into the whole "baggy pants" phenomenon, but I can easily grab my PSP and slap it in my back pocket when I'm on the go (of course it wouldn't be comfortable to sit down with it in my pocket, but neither would a paperback book, etc)
The style matches Sony's style for the PSP but that's just where the fun begins. The foam liner of the case is easily removed so you can print out custom inlays and put them between the clear outer shell and the foam cushioning making it very easily "skinnable". If you check the various PSP enthusiast forums, you'll find premade templates for printing your own custom skin. I would like to see Logitech officially embrace this skinning "scene" as it's good for product publicity and the end customer gets an even greater looking, more personalized product.
I've never considered myself to have large hands (hold the jokes please) but I find the PSP easier to hold while playing it in the case. The lid can act as a glare shield under some circumstances as well. I also like that I can listen to music, charge the PSP, skip MP3's forward/back, and turn it off all with the case closed.
I have no reservations whatsoever about recommending the Logitech PlayGear Pocket to any PSP owner. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Polycarbonate Case is GREAT Thursday, May 05, 2005

I ordered this case for my PSP. Use this along with a Javo Screen Protector and it works great. Case feels very solid. When you open it, it is a tight hinge so it doesn't swing back...ie, it stays open. It also holds the PSP unit very snug so it doesn't move around when to take it along. Also, acts as a sun shield. I would highly recommend getting this if you have over $300-$500 invested in a unit w/ a couple of games and accessories. It feels like it will last. It is clear on back to show off the PSP logo and has a push button type of opening on front that feels like it won't open if bumped unless you actually push the button in. Well padded case for protection. It is made of a clear "plastic" or polycarbonate material so it's tough. It may get scratched up over time but better the case for $16 than you PSP. I wish it would have space for games but hey, get a separate case. Was this review helpful?
