<p>I initially was looking for a car charger and stumbled across this mega pack. I bought it without a second thought. </p>
<p>I have an old "fat psp" so the docking station works great. I just plug in my Sony charging cable to the dock and dock the psp when I please. I charge my psp more frequently now cause my cord always used to fall on the floor behind the desk. It is sturdy and has a little blue led that is always on. I guess so that you can find it at night. </p>
<p>All the retractable cords are nice. They are always tightly wound when not in use. However, in order to use the car charger you must also use the supplied usb charging cord. Small inconvenience, but I have the usb cord with me always and leave the car adapter in the car. </p>
<p>The faceplate is very convenient, it keeps the screen from getting scratched. Like the other reviewer, I pretty much use the carrying case for the accessories so I can just flip up the plate and play as I please. The faceplate doesn't interfere with gameplay when it is flipped up.</P>

This package, while begin specifically for the original PSP, still works decently with the PSP Slim, the dock and screen protector thing don't work at all though. I use the zipper case for the accessories for the PSP rather than the PSP itself; the USB cables are really handy, being retractable and all; the headphones are only marginal. Overall, a pretty handy package for the average user. Was this review helpful?

I had shopped around all the stores in my area and priced the Mega Pack at $55 to $60. I went online to buy.com and got everything that I need for $20. I saved over $30 with buy.com. Was this review helpful?

I have the new slimline PSP and this kit is for the older version, so as the ad says, the docking station does not fir the new slimline PSP. There is also a faceplate type cover that comes with it that does not fit the new PSP, so you lose that too. However, that said, the rest of the components are very good, work great, and the price is great for what you get. The cords for the earphones and USB plugs are self retracting into a little self wound spool, so they are easy to use and easy to store without having to wind up the cords. Also the case works well and protects the unit well.

This kit is a pretty good value for the price, but I would not pay more than what is shown here. There is a note under "features" that states the dock does not work with the
new PSP slim; wish it did, had to buy a separate dock. Was this review helpful?
