5 of 5 Great Logitech Keyboard Sunday, December 02, 2007
    X-R3TALIATION-X from Oroville, CA

This usb wireless keyboard is very easy to use. Just plug in the wireless usb reciever to your ps3, put the batteries in the keyboard, switch it on and your ready to go. It's got a nice long range and its also nice having the laptop style mouse on the keyboard itself.

5 of 5 Excellent keyboard for HTPC Tuesday, September 25, 2007
A Gamer from San Jose, CA
I don't have a PS3,I bought this keyboard to control a computer attached to my 37" tv. I searched for weeks looking for a suitable wireless keyboard/touchpad solution to control my home theater pc. Most wireless keyboards require a separate wireless mouse, which is not the most convenient solution when you're controlling your computer from your bed or couch in a HTPC setup. Most HTPC keyboards use an integrated trackball or joystick to control cursor movement, but being used to a laptop I really wanted a touchpad option. This left only a few options- Logitech's own super-sexy, but 300% more expensive diNOVO Edge keyboard, and Adesso's ~$90 Slimtouch lineup. All use 2.4ghz wireless technology, which does not require line-of-site access between the device and receiver, unlike cheaper RF wireless keyboards. In fact, this keyboard functioned flawlessly over 25 feet away, through 3 walls. Setup was a no-brainer; the keyboard was instantly recognized by Windows XP after I popped the included 2 AA batteries into the back of the computer and the thumbdrive-sized receiver into a free USB port. It was also instantly recognized by a Macbook running OS X. I can't speak for Vista systems as I don't own one yet. Keyboard feel is excellent for my style of typing, similar in feel to a laptop keyboard, with just a bit more key travel. Key presses are light yet precise, I have yet to experience a typing error using this keyboard that wasn't a result of inaccurate hand placement. Extras are minimal on this keyboard which is fine with me. A number pad would be welcome, but would add to size. Media, Internet and other hotkeys are a welcome omission for me, as they oftentimes require drivers to function correctly. (I hate installing third-party software for basic devices.) The on-off switch on the upper right of the keyboard offers decent tactile feel, but only moves a couple of millimeters so it can sometimes be difficult to see if they keyboard is on or off from a few feet away. If this really bothers you, dab some red paint or nail polish in the "Off" side of groove that the switch rides on so it shows when the switch is moved to the "On" position. A small LED briefly lights green when you turn on the keyboard, but turns off after a few seconds, leaving no indication whether the keyboard is on or not. There are also no LEDs showing whether the Caps or Num lock is engaged. This lack of lights may actually be an advantage for HTPC setups, as there are no annoying lights distracting you while you're watching movies in a darkened setting. I've only had this keyboard for 3 weeks so I can't speak for battery life, but it seems to be excellent. I was surprised by how thin the keyboard was, I wouldn't pry open a crate with it, but it seems to be decently durable. The scrolling area on the touchpad works well, but I would have liked a larger touchpad area in general. All in all, I am very satisfied with this product especially considering it was the least-expensive viable option for my needs. If you are considering an all-in-one keyboard and cursor control option for your PC, Mac or PS3 and prefer touchpads over trackballs, this keyboard is highly recommended.

5 of 5 Keyboard works great Wednesday, June 20, 2007
A Gamer from New York, NY
Makes emails and websurfing ten times easier that the Sony game controller. Hookup was quick. The only bad part is that you need to plug the USB reciever into one of the PS3 USB ports. Sony should make a bluetooth version of this keyboard.
