| | | Exciting and convenient, the RM-VL600 controls up to 8 components, and with the One-touch system control, synchronizing operational status on remote and alternate components is done with ease. Also a Learning function for programming from other remotes.

I can't believe that a remote this inexpensive would work so well. I had mine up and running in less than 15 minutes. That includes some of the multi functions and reconfiguring a few buttons.
I highly recommend this remote! Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Great Product, easy to program Monday, December 29, 2008 Ken Hansen from Layton, UT
The remote saves a lot of time and is easy to program. It isn't as good a deal as it looks, I found similar Sony's with 7 functions available for $15 at K-Mart, Target. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works well after a little effort.... Friday, November 21, 2008 John C from Elburn, IL
I exclusively used the "learn" function to successfully program a wide variety of functions for our Samsung LCD TV, Samsung Blue Ray player, Sony Audio/Video receiver and Direct TV remotes, obviating the need the other remotes 99+% of the time. Using the learn function effectively did involve some trial-and-error and some do-overs, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty simple. I had little to no luck initially using the supplied set of codes, but wound up with a system that probably is more comprehensive anyway via the learn mode. I haven't yet taken the time to program in long series of commands to single buttons, but this is on the agenda and will be a cool extra. All in all, I think this is a great value.
