HDR-HC9 MiniDV HD Handycam Camcorder delivers high definition quality and versatility with a professional grade Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens, 10X optical/20X digital zoom, and a 3.2 megapixel ClearVid CMOS sensor for video with up to 1080 lines of horizontal resolution in HD format, or 530 lines of horizontal resolution in SD format, and 6.1 megapixel still images. Use Dual Record Mode to capture still images and video at the same time. Save still images onto a Memory Stick PRO Duo Media card (sold separately) to transfer and share your photos. Switchable HDV/DV Format Recording allows you to record and play back both High Definition and Standard Definition video recorded on standard MiniDV cassettes (sold separately). 2.7" wide Clear Photo LCD Plus screen has 211K pixels, touch panel technology and 270 degree rotation for multiple viewing angles. Camcorder features HDMI connectivity, i.LINK Interface (IEEE1394), USB 2.0 interface and Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization.
