The HT-IS100 BRAVIA theater micro system delivers intense, 5.1 channel surround sound from golf ball-sized speakers and is S-AIR-ready for multi-room listening (requires optional EZW-T100 S-AIR transmitter). HDMI connectivity supports 1080p performance for crystal clear screen resolution and smooth movement while BRAVIA Sync offers one-touch operation of your compatible Sony entertainment devices. The HT-IS100 is also equipped with a DIGITAL MEDIA PORT (DMP) that connects to a range of optional accessories, including the supplied iPod cradle (TDM-iP1). For added convenience, the Digital Cinema Calibration feature optimizes sound settings for your room at the push of a button.

    This system is great, especially if you have a Sony t.v. and blu ray. I have heard some bad reviews about this product, and here is what I have to say to that. Know what your buying! If your a true audiophile and need a huge sounding system, then look somewhere else. However if you want a system with good performance and a price tag to match, then this is for you. Only thing I would suggest buy.com to do, is ship products in brown boxes and not just the original product box for security reasons.

    5 of 5 Good sound for small speakers Wednesday, April 15, 2009

    Purchased this system for $364, which was a great price because other shops have it for $499. The sound is not as punchy when listening to music as my older Panasonic with normal size surround sound speakers. I will be using this system mostly for movies and it works well with movies. My wife loves the very small speakers and the night mode that lowers the base the sub gives off. All in all I'm very satisfied with the product and Buy.com price and service.
