    Pros: Picture Quality is Excellent. Sound through speakers is very acceptable. Sound Quality through headphones is excellent. Cons: My only complaint would be there is no way to turn off the LCD when not needed (i.e. If you want to use the unit to listen to music, there is no way to turn off the LCD to conserve the battery. You can dim the LCD but unlike Sony's previous model the DVP-FX820 there is no way to turn off the LCD.) If you are someone that intends to use this portable unit as your everyday DVD player hooked up to your television, you would be better off getting last year's model the DVP-FX820. Even though it's an inch smaller, you can turn off the LCD when you are sending the signal straight to your Home Theater, unfortunately there is no way to turn off the LCD when not needed on this model. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an great portable DVD player.
