With song titles such as "Suck Dis Dick" and "We Want Some Head," it's not difficult to imagine the tone of Campbell's lyrics. It's rare to find a hip-hop figure capable of making guest artists Snoop Dogg and Kurupt seem like Evan & Jaron. As always, Campbell surrounds his unabashed nastiness with pumping beats, heavy bass, and tracks guaranteed to rock your jeep and/or pulsate your woofers. Ultimately, this album is no major departure here for Campbell, more of a retrenchment in purposeful seediness, as SOMETHIN' NASTY finds our boy still as nasty as he wants to be. |
