I got one of these from my Aunt for my Birthday a month ago, since then I have have had many problems with the gaskets that come with the case. If you open and close it a lot (which you need to do to recharge your Nano) the gaskets roll over and jump out of their groove. They are just little blue rubber bands, you get an extra set with the case which is good but you should get ten sets. After the gaskets roll over and get smashed a few times they become distorted and all stretched out - Hence the need for new gaskets. The click wheel works okay, so I usually jut put my Nano on shuffle and put on the "hold" switch so I don't have to use the click wheel.
I kept this case since it was a gift, it is made in China with a bunch of cheap accessories, my arm band fell apart in two weeks and the lanyard could not hold a whistle. I have recently read some bad reviews on this case and when I got it decided not to get it wet because it might leak. I would pay only five dollars for this "waterproof" case if it was my money, this product should be in a discount store like "Big Lots". Was this review helpful?

I bought the drypod to protect my ipod from the snow, it is not yet snowing but the case looks very protective. I have already droped my ipod and the case has absorbed the shock protecting my new treasure. The click wheel is hard to access through the skin, but with lots of practice can be done. Ok, I was skeptical about getting one of these cases, but these are really good quality. The skin is thin, yet strong enough to even absorb a shock from dropping it on the sidewalk - although I wouldn't recommend you test this. The waterproof function is great, especially since I like to swim, surf, & boogieboard in the ocean. I just took it to Hawaii and it withstood everything I could throw at it, so forget the old case u have. This is the one u want. The price might be a little more, but it is worth it to protect your iPod. You can even click the wheel through the skin. Was this review helpful?
