Personnel: Rosemary Clooney (vocals); Scott Hamilton (tenor saxophone); Warren Vache (trumpet, cornet); Dave McKenna, John Oddo (piano); Ed Bickert, Chris Flory (guitar); Steve Wallace, Phil Flanigan (bass); Jake Hanna, Gus Johnson (drums). Recorded at McClear Place, Toronto, Canada and Mastermind Sound Studios, New York, New York in January 1983 & June 1984. Originally released on Concord (4210) & Concord (4255). This two-fer collects a pair of Rosemary Clooney's songbook tributes from the early '80s, recorded for the Concord label. Each of them gives her the opportunity to interpret the music of a great composer with a superior sextet that features cornetist Warren Vache, tenor saxophonist Scott Hamilton, and guitarist Ed Bickert.
