This product is the most user-friendly back-up in the world. I wasn't familiar with using an external hard drive but I plugged it in and transferred my files. It was that simple.

Good, basic drive. (The drive inside the enclosure was a WD unit - specifically a WDC WD10EAVS, but of course, this may vary by lot.) The only part of the install that took a little time was that the drive was not formatted....which took a couple hours on a 1 TB drive. Since then, it's been working great (I've attached it to a Pogoplug adapter and am using it as a NAS unit, essentially.) So it works great, but plan on a couple of hours before it will be ready to go.

Received my SimpleDrive yesterday and took it for a test drive. Worked great right out of the box! Very easy to use and comes with easy software for backing up all your important files. They don't call it simple for nothing!

I am extremely pleased with this product. Easy to install and my Windows Vista recognized it immediately. It's compact size easily fits on top of my tower. I'm so happy to have a safe place to back up all my important information and photos.

This is a great product. It comes ready to use right out of the box, and is just plug and play. The Turbo USB option does seem to increase transfer rate, and the backup software that is included works well to back up important folders. So if you have a a bunch of music, photos, and videos, this is a great option!

This is a nice drive. It's very easy to use and it come with a nice back up tool. I need an extra storage to store all my photos and videos and this drive is my solution. Strongly recommend!
