5 of 5 SIIG, INC. eSATA to eSATA (SATA II) Cable. Wednesday, February 25, 2009 Kevin from Tri - Cities Washington
My name is Kevin.
Our home computer system is Windows XP Home Edition.
What I am writing about is the SIIG, Inc. eSATA to eSATA
(SATA II) Cable. Length 2 meter (6.6 feet).
We have two external Western Digital hard drives. The (SATA II)
cable worked great right out of the bag.
The SIIG, Inc. eSATA to eSATA (SATA II) Cable is flat.
If this matters it might make a differance to the looks of your
computer system.
We now have both the flat and round (SATA II) cables on our
computer system.
Buy.com delivered the SIIG, Inc. eSATA to eSATA (SATA II)
Cable in less than 1 Week.
We have ordered from Buy.com before they are a Great Company.

5 of 5 One of the only eSATA Cables that Works! Wednesday, June 18, 2008 A Customer from California
I purchased this cable for my Seagate FreeAgent Pro External HDD. Turns out, SIIG eSATA Cables are one of the only brand of eSATA cables that works on external hard drives. On all other cables, the plastic around the connectors is cut too long, so the connector doesn't fit into the eSATA port on your device.
This cable worked perfectly! And (as of June 2008) is cheaper than the same product on Newegg.
BE WARNED: Seagate FreeAgent Pro external hard drives are simply not designed well to use the built-in eSATA interface. This cable worked perfectly, but my FreeAgent Pro worked terribly. Buy an iOmega external hdd if you want to use eSATA. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good buy Friday, March 23, 2007 KKPoschman from Austin, Texas
The 6.5' eSATA cable will enable the eSATA drive to be connected to several systems (one at a time) in a multi-PC server room on an as-needed basis. Was this review helpful?
